This 18th Century, traditional, stone farmhouse sits in a prime Luberon location, surrounded by 2 hectares of private vineyard. The house is built around a central courtyard with shade from the huge mulberry tree.
The owners have done a creative and careful job of renovating this historic building to create 4, stylish gites. 2 of these are suitable for 4 people, the other 2 are ideal for 2 people.
The guests share the original, stone pool within the courtyard which is perfect for cooling off, plus a large, 14m long, heated pool has been added for you to enjoy within the vineyard.
The gardens and courtyard are at your disposal and provide a peaceful, relaxing haven.
Just 2 km away is the picturesque village of Menerbes, typically Provencal with good restaurants, bakeries, cafes and a weekly market.
To complete your holiday experience, why not spoil yourselves with the gastronomic delights of the chef/owner? Upon request, dinners and cooking courses are available.

About the local area
Menerbes, just 2 km from the gite, has a rich and varied history and is considered to be one of the most beautiful, medieval villages in the Luberon.
Despite not being very large, it is well worth a visit and has 4 restaurants, cafes, bakers, butchers, grocers, post office, pharmacy and a weekly farmers market (Thursday)
It’s lovely to stroll through the old streets and visit the 16th Century Citadel at the far end of the village. Also worth mentioning is the Corkscrew Museum - with over 1000 exhibits! You may also enjoy the Maison of Truffles and Wine – a beautifully restored, old village house, open to the public in the summer months.
The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Bonnieux, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments!
Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away.
There's so much to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence
