Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away.
There's loads to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. REVIEWS
The apartment was clean and warm and we loved the view to Mont Ventoux, still snowy on top. The local rep was a very nice guy with excellent English.
We had a good time and loved Bonnieux. We had a dinner in L`Arome in the village and thought it was good but a little over-priced compared to other places. The best lunch was in Roussillon, at a smallish place called Le P`tit Gourmand, run by a Corsican couple.
