A lovely large village house set in one of our most popular villages. 5 large bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 peple. This beautiful house has a large private garden and lovely swimming pool. Perfect place to come and relax, yet ideally situated for exploring the Languedoc region.


This spacious house has a lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor with lots of light streaming in through glass doors that lead out on to a large terrace with the gardens and swimming ppol beyond With 5 large double bedrooms there is ample space and is ideal for 2 families with children The large gardens with mature trees and shrubs give it a tranquil feel, yet the house is set in the centre of the village The large pool is great but with lots of space around it for lounging or for playing ball games for those with a little more energy

The village of Canet has a good selection of shops and services, such as a boulangerie, small shop, hairdressers, bar and restuarant.
br/> Plenty of sports activities are available in the area 2 tennis courts close to the house in the village, plus a Multi sport pitch and cycle hire, as well as 3 cycles available at the house.

br/> There are several local markets each week, with Olonzac, Lezignan Corbeieres, Narbonne, Carcassonne and St Chinian.
br/> Good selection of restaurants close by, with 2 just a short drive to the next village of Ventenac and a 10/15 minute drive to Homps, Olonzac and La Somail.
br/> The nearest large supermarket is only a 10 minute drive into Lezignan Corbieres, although there is a small supermarket located in the village, just a 1 minutes walk from the house.

Ground Floor - Lovely entrance hallway that gives access to the open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
br/> Living room - large, bright and airy room with glass sliding doors out onto the rear covered terrace. In the corner of the living room is a small round dining table with seating for 4, which is just one of the four different locations where you can sit to eat. There are numerous downlighters throughout the living room all set on dimmer switches, feature fire and a TV. .
br/> Kitchen - is a modern and well fitted kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and coffee machine. To one end of the kitchen is the indoor dining area, with a large extendable table seating up to 10
br/>. Utility room - with has a washing machine and a drinks fridge installed and has direct access to the garden.
br/> Downstairs toilet - there is a guest toilet situated next to the utility room.
br/>Staircase from the hall - with lovely original wrought iron bannister rail giving access to the first floor.
br/> Master suite - Large kingsize bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and access to the Dressing Room and Ensuite bathroom with a full bath with shower over, separate walk in shower, 2 sink units, and a heated towel rail.
br/> Bedroom 2 - Large double bed with access to a Dressing Room and Ensuite shower room with walk-in shower, sink and heated towel rail.
br/> Separate toilet - is located on the first floor which is shared by Master bedroom and Bedroom 2.
br/> Modern staircase - leads to the loft area, where Bedroom 3 is located. Another double bedroom with a large Dressing room and its own Ensuite shower room, with a walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail.
br/> The old staircase - leads to the other side of the loft space where both Bedrooms 4 and 5 can be found.
br/> Bedroom 4 - Twin bedded room with 2 full size single beds.
br/> Bedroom 5 - Double bed, plus a further full size single bed and a wardrobe.
br/> Bathroom 4 - located on the top floor and is shared by Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5. This has a walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail.
br/> Outside - Large mature gardens surround the house with beautiful specimen trees and shrubs and a lawned area surrounding the pool.
br/> Large covered terrace leading from the living room has a dining table and seating for 8-10.
br/> A further raised terrace at the end of the garden gives room for another eating place as well as a further table and chairs situated around the other side of the house which is a lovely place to sit in late afternoon or early evening catching the final rays of sunshine whilst enjoying a glass of wine.
br/> Pool - Oval in shape and measures approximately 9m x 4m x 1.5m with steps leading into the water ample space around for the sun loungers.
br/> Garage - This has a full size table tennis table and stores the 3 cycles for use by the guests, and where other beach and ball games are located for your use.
br/> TV - Freesat channels available.
br/> WIFI - Free for the guests use with your own laptops, tablets and phones.
br/> Gas, Electric and Water - Are all included in your rental cos.t
br/> End-of-stay clean - The end of stay cleaning is included in your rental cost.
br/> Bed and bathroom linen - Bed linen and bathroom towels are included in your rental cost. Please note house towels may be used around the pool, but are not allowed to be removed from the property to the beach or other outdoor centres.
br/> Tax de Sejour - In France, it is necessary to pay a "Taxe de Sejour" at the end of your holiday, however, this has been included in your rental cost.
br/> Change over day - Saturday. However, outside of the High and Peak season, other changeover days may be available by prior arrangement.
br/> Pets - Sorry no pets are permitted.
br/> Smoking - Is not permitted
br/> Damage Deposit - The owners request a £350 security deposit for groups of 1-5 persons, or £400 for groups 6-10 persons.
