Ideal for two couples or a young family (no teens please), this property is a private wing of a traditional Provencal house. It has a separate entrance and brand new private pool -all yours! The location guarantees a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a secluded spot.

The spacious interior cover 80m2 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets.

It has a private terrace with outdoor relaxing and dining furniture, plus use of the huge garden/land - 4000m2 of terraces, lawn, trees and shrubs.

Mas St Myer is located close to the village of Caumont sur Durance, a perfect location for exploring the villages, markets and vinyards of the Luberon.

L’Isle Sur Sorgue, Cavaillon and Avignon are all close by for more shopping, eating out and entertainment.

With two good-sized bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, separate toilets and a private pool, this property comfortably accommodates up to four people.

Property Features

Living room/ Kitchen/Dining: This is a large and thoughtfully renovated room with a very well equipped kitchen at one end and comfortable seating for relaxing at the other. If you choose to eat inside there's a dining table and chairs. French doors lead to the private outdoor terrace, pool and garden so there's plenty of natural light. If you need to escape the heat of Provence, the house has air-conditioning - bliss!

Bedrooms Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, one a double and the other with 2 single beds - which can be made as a double. The house is perfect for 2 couples, or a family of 4, however we don't take older children as the pool is a little small for big kids fun and games!

Bathrooms Both bedrooms have private bathrooms, very modern with glass screened, walk in showers and wash hand basin.

Toilets 2 Separate toilets so no queues!

Outside Take a step out through the French doors onto the shaded terrace, then take in the view and tranquility. No noisy or nosy neighbours here! You share the extensive gardens with the owners house next door, but they are very discreet and happy to let you enjoy the land.

Swimming pool This is a new pool, fully fenced and adjacent to the house and terrace. It's perfect for cooling off and has spa settings as well.

Internet: Free Wifi connection available for guests.

Damage deposit: 700€ cash in Euros on arrival, refundable less the replacement cost of any breakages please.

Gas, electricity & water: all included in rental cost.
Cleaning: included in rental cost.
Taxe de Séjour: In France it is necessary to pay a taxe de sejour (tourist stay tax) and this is calculated based on the number of people (adults) in your group and the time of year you stay. Under 18's are exempt. We will advise you of any tax due at the time you make your reservation..
Change-over day: Normally on Sundays but contact us to find out if another day is possible. Arrival from 16:00 and depart before 10:00.
Pets: No accepted at this property
Smoking: This is a no-smoking estate.

About the local area

Caumont sur Durance sits approximately equal distance between Avignon and L’Isle sur la Sorgue and the house is approx 3km from the centre of Caumont.

The town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, just 10 minutes drive away, is famous for it's numerous waterways and mills, for its many restaurants along the canal banks and above all for its antique shops. There are no fewer than 350 "Antiquaires", which makes it second only to Paris in the antiques trade.

Sports If you're feeling sporty, the excellent 18 hole golf course at Chateaublanc is only 10 km away, plus there’s horse-riding, tennis, walking and cycling routes and fishing nearby.

Leisure A 10 min drive brings you to the Regional park of the Luberon, welll known for it's natural beauty and the hilltop Medieval villages of Bonnieux, Gordes, Menerbes and Lacoste. You can easily visit Roussillon with it's stunning ocre scenery or Coustellet which hosts a traditional farmers market on a Sunday morning.

Not far away there's St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations or Avignon with the Palace of the Popes. Slightly further afield, but still within easy reach you'll find Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.

Markets can be found at a host of local towns and villages; L’Isle sur la Sorgue on Sunday mornings famous for its antiques, Pernes les Fontaines on Saturdays and Carpentras on Fridays, to mention just a few.
