Local shops can be found just 50 metres away, a boulangerie 100 metres, a supermarket 150 metres and a wonderful restaurant on the sea front just 20 metres. You also have a great selection of restaurants to choose from all around the port area and in the nearby old town of Nice. For shopping there is a great choice in the department stores, the designer shops and gift shops of Nice.
Local markets are held in Nice and in Villefranche. The most well known is held in the ‘Cours Saleya’ in Nice, adjacent to the old town, and offers an array of olives, flowers and fresh produce. There is also an antiques market held here on a Monday.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading along the Promenade des Anglais, and of course the beaches. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.
Beaches can be found just 50 metres away at the Plage Nautique, and right along the front of Nice as far as the airport. From here you can enjoy the sunshine glittering on the azure blue waters of the Med, watch the many boats crossing the ‘Baie des Anges’, and see the planes and helicopters coming in and out of the airport.
The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around from here is very easy. You have the bus and train services, which have a great network along the coast and further inland - the nearest bus stop to this apartment is 20 metres away. A car is really not necessary here.
Sightseeing is endless; you have the historical old town of Nice; the restaurants and yachts in the port of Nice; a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais; the views from the Chateau of Nice; the Museums of Art in Nice; the animals & plants at Parc Phoenix; the charming Mediterranean towns of Villefranche-sur-Mer and Beaulieu-sur-Mer; the zoo and coastal walk around Cap-Ferrat; the perched village at Eze; the casinos and port of Monaco; and the Italian border town of Menton. The apartment was excellently fitted out and very comfortable. Sandra was, as always, extremely helpful particularly in matters relating to checking in and checking out - Mr M. from Argyll, July 2019.
Light, airy rooms, facing out to the Port, all one required inside. air-conditioning would have been wonderful but realise probably not likely. Always have been of high standard, very good wardrobe space etc. - Mr M. from Dundee, July 19.
The apartment was very comfortable and perfectly situated. Just watch out for the seagulls if you are eating on your balcony - one stole my croissant when I went in to fetch my cup of tea. Two balconies felt almost greedy and the views were lovely. We made full use of public transport - the 100 bus to Monaco, 98 bus to Villefranche and Beaulieu from the port and a slightly further walk to catch the bus from MAMAC to the Chagall and Matisse museums. We also made good use of the train from Nice Riquiers which was about a 7 minute walk. Perfect - Ms F. from Gloucestershire, June 19.
It was very easy to book our accommodation with Joie de Vivre and we were supplied with sufficient information for arrival - Mr R from Switzerland, Aug 17.
A beautiful, spacious apartment with a nice balcony and views over the Vieux Port of Nice. Very comfortable and the kitchen was very well-equipped. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr A. from Sheffield, July 16
Dear Paul, I felt I had to write to say a huge thank you to your colleague Sandra who was amazing during our trip to Euphorbe 2 in Nice. Our trip didn`t go as we expected it to, the apartment was fantastic. We arrived late due to an accident on the rail line which meant we were in fact 3 hours late, Sandra arranged for keys to be left at the restaurant nearby which was fine. We then got caught up in the terrible flooding, but as the apartment was so nice we were happy to be inside. Then finally my cousin tripped and chipped a bone and tore a ligament in her foot, resulting on her being on crutches. Our trip was cut short and instead of returning to Paris, Sandra arranged for Caroline to spend one more night in the apartment and I managed to get a flight home. Sandra took Caroline to the airport and even escorted her into the terminal building, this was quite the most amazing service either of us have experienced. I would like to say thank you to her from both of us and hope next time our trip would not be so eventful, can you pass this on to her please, Thanks again (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs H. from Northumberland, Oct 2015.
Nice apartment. Bit off the main drag, excellent local agent (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr Howells, LYSEKIL, July 2015.
...very clean well presented property in a well managed smart complex that was well looked after in a great location (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr J. from Cornwall, June 2015.
Excellent (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr G. from NORFOLK, June 2015.
The accommodation was of a high standard. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms were high spec and overall, the apartment was spacious and inviting. The views from both of the balconies were beautiful. We had a lovely week and thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was a good base to visit our favourite places and we acquainted ourselves with new parts of Nice. Sandra was very helpful and she obtained a parking space for us which was a bonus. We were very pleased with the apartment and also with the arrangements for the handovers - Mrs R. from Glasgow, May 2015.
Lovely apartment with great views! (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs K. from Lancashire, May 2015.
We arrived late at night and found the accommodation given the details that was supplied. The accommodation was superb, great location. The only thing would be to have a visitors book so we could write down our wonderful experience (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs S. from Middlesex, August 2014.
Accommodation as described. Could have done with more towels especially tea towels. Only a very minor issue. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr C. from Cheshire, May 2014.
We had a lovely time in the apartment which was a perfect home for us while we were there.  Sandra was very kind and even brought round her husband to check the TV near the beginning of our stay (the TV is quite temperamental and tricky to use).   The only criticism was the lack of adequate cleaning things which are usually under the sink when you rent somewhere! We will hopefully return next year but can`t do anything just at the moment as we are hoping to move house fairly soon.  Will be in touch again.  Nice really seems like a second home now! - Mrs F. from Northants Sept/Oct 13 (2nd visit).
Accommodation was exactly as described. Lived up to our expectations. There is no aircon and apartment was very warm. We asked local rep for a fan and she gave us one no problem. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Mrs O. from Kildare, July 2013.
Adequate apartment. Somewhat dated, but clean and well-equipped (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Average - Mr S. from Norway, July 13.
Loved the place. It met all of our needs, was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied. Wifi was difficult to connect into, but our contact person, Sandra, was extremely prompt and helpful - Ms. K from Ontario, May 13.
What a wonderful apartment - fabulous views, well equipped, quiet, clean, warm... i cannot fault it. I enjoyed a very comfortable stay with my brother and partner. Would recommend to others and choose to stay there again should I return to Nice. Thank You! (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Dr D. from Australia, Apr 13.
Paul, Many thanks for all your care in making our holiday complete. We found the apartment ideal for our needs and the outlook is great. Please pass our thanks on to Sandra for her friendly greeting, care and attention. We hope to be in touch again, maybe next year  - Mr S. from Herts, April 13.
Accommodation was excellent and well equipped. A couple of minor things, no pan lids some of the towels hired were of poor quality 2 double duvets for the beds but only one duvet cover. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs F. from Northhants, 4 weeks in Oct 12. (JDV say: unfortunately because the linen wasn`t requested in advance of arrival, the correct amount and quality wasn`t made available at such short notice. Please ensure that this is requested at the point of your booking.)
It was of very high standard, clean and very comfortable. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Mrs H. from Isle of White, July 12.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed. If anything the apartment was better than we had anticipated from the website. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs F. from Kildare, July 11.
Fantastic location, apartment very comfortable and safe. A microwave would have been useful and another fan for use in the other bedroom. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied.  We are particularly pleased with the care taken by Paul and Sandra, they both made us feel special. We have recommended this apartment and the company to friends and intend to start further searches for holiday properties with Joie De Vivre - Mrs F. from Fife, Jun 11
