In a lovely peaceful setting, about 8 minutes’ drive from the historic town of Grasse, the property has views over nearby Chateauneuf and the villages of Valbonne, Mougins and the coast are easily accessible.
It has a maximum occupancy of 8 (plus babies) and would be perfect for two small families or group of friends (no organised parties please).

Living room: same floor, with stylish sofas & chairs set around fireplace, baby grand piano, smart speakers and doors out to lovely west-facing terrace – perfect for evening drinks! A/C completes this very comfortable floor.
Bedrooms: four in total, all tastefully decorated and fully-carpeted. On (top) 3rd floor, lovely large principal room with windows/views all around, beautiful king bed (180cm), dressing room adjacent and large ensuite bathroom. On 2nd floor, large room with king bed (160cm), dressing and ensuite shower room. Same floor with double bed (140cm), with frontward facing views, wardrobes and corner work station. Finally with double bed (140cm), rearward facing and wardrobes. All rooms have comfortable beds and efficient A/C for comfortable nights’ sleep.
Bathrooms: three in total and one independent W/C. Ensuite to principal bedroom with gorgeous clawfoot bath (enjoy views from window!), double washbasins, W/C, rain shower and lovely tiles. Ensuite to bedroom 2 with independent rain shower, washbasin and W/C. Independent bathroom shared between bedrooms 3 and 4, with over-bath shower, fabulous Baroque-style sink and W/C. Hairdryer available.
Outside: beautiful gardens traversing south-west, planted with lovely old olive trees, Mediterranean flowers and lawns, superb open views. Newly-made boule pétanque adjacent to pool, large dining table & chairs and gas BBQ on terrace. Hammock and tree-ladder are fun! Along the lawn, comfy chairs and jacuzzi nestled under gazebo. Secure parking for 2 to 3 cars depending on size. Gardener will come weekly.
Swimming pool: 7x3.5x1.5 metres, chlorine, secured by alarm and serviced twice/week. With 5 sun-loungers and 2 parasols, relax all day by the pool!
Internet: Wi-Fi available for your devices, download speed 17.9 Mbps, upload 10.4 Mbps.
Baby facilities: travel cot available (upon request).
Bed & bathroom linen: included in rental. Pool towels also available.
Electric: included in rental.
End-of-stay cleaning: included in rental.
Taxe de Séjour: usually necessary to pay in France (tourist tax), is calculated based on the number in your group and the time of year you stay. Under 18's are exempt. We will advise you of the tax due at the time you make your reservation and how it’s to be paid.
Damage deposit: the owner requests 1000 Euros in advance with JDV by way of credit card. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: normally Saturday, however may be flexible upon request.
Long weekend stays: not possible here – sorry.
Pets: some dogs and cats permitted by prior request. Note; cats usually live here but will depart with owner.
Smoking: not permitted inside – sorry.
Supplementary services: the owner’s able to arrange the following services for you as a supplement: Babysitter, Masseur, Chauffeur, Daily cleaner, Chef.

About the local area
Local shops, boulangeries, supermarket and restaurants can be found at Opio commercial centre – just 5 mins drive away (2.5km). A greater selection is in the historic old town of Grasse - 12 mins drive (5.2km), Valbonne - 11 mins (7km) and Mougins - 16 mins (13km).
Local markets are held every Friday morning in Valbonne, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Grasse, and daily in Cannes. They offer a fabulous array of olives, flowers, fruit & veg and local produce like honey, wine and charcuterie.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant; there’s golf at Opio Valbonne - 11 mins drive (7.9km), tennis at Club Municipal d'Opio - 5 mins (3.2km), paddle -7 mins (3.3km),
horse riding at Centre Hippique de Grasse - 12 mins (5.7km) and kayaking - 16 mins (9.4km).
Down by the coast you also have sailing, diving, fishing, other water sports and swimming. You’re also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes here, which makes hiking and cycling very popular.
Beaches of Cannes, and around the bay of La Napoule, are sandy and just 30 mins drive (20km).
The ski stations of Greoliere, Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are between 1 and 2 hour’s drive if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around a car is preferable from here. However, you have the SNCF Grasse Train Station - 9 mins drive (4.8km).
Sightseeing is endless, there's the nearby Lac St Cassien and Pont du Loup, but also the historical old town of Cannes; restaurants and yachts in the port; a stroll along the Croisette; fabulous views from Le Suquet; other charming Mediterranean towns of Antibes, Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer; the coastal walks around Caps Antibes and Ferrat; the perched village at Eze; the casinos and port of Monaco and the Italian border town of Menton. It's also possible to cross over the border to experience the flavour of Italy!
Other entertainment includes shopping, casinos & nightlife, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides, or just good old relaxing on the beach!
