Nearest boulangerie and restaurant/bar are less than 5 minutes’ drive away in local village of Roquefort les Pins. Intermarche is less than 5 minutes by car in Roquefort-les-Pins and Carrefour Market Valbonne is around 10 minutes by car. Further shops and restaurants can be found 10 minutes’ drive away in medieval village of Valbonne, where you'll find specialist shops, like wine shops, delicatessens, fromageries and patisseries. It measures 10m x 5m in size and has a maximum depth of up to 3.5m, providing ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. Adjacent to the pool, there is also outdoor shower.

Taxe de Séjour: usually necessary to pay in France (tourist tax), calculated based on the number of people and the time of year. Under 18's are exempt. We will advise you of the tax due at the time you make your reservation and how it’s to be paid.

Damage deposit: 3000 Euros per stay, made it in advance with JDV by way of credit card. This will be refunded at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

Change over day: normally Saturday, other days upon request.

Long weekend stays: not possible here, sorry.

Pets: small dogs accepted, by prior request.

Smoking: not permitted, sorry.

About the local area

It also has convenient access to A8 autoroute making it easy to get to popular coastal towns of Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco.

Local shops, restaurants, boulangeries, banks and Intermarche supermarket can be found under 5 minutes’ drive away in local village of Roquefort-les-Pins. Further shops and restaurants can be found 10 minutes’ drive away in medieval village of Valbonne, where you'll find specialist shops, like wine shops, delicatessens, fromageries and patisseries.

Local markets are held on Wednesday morning in Roquefort-les-Pins where you can choose from wonderful displays of olives, cheese, fruit and vegetables. Excellent Valbonne Provençal Market (farmers market) with great selection of food, jewellery, clothes, household goods and food is every Friday morning.

Sporting activities in the area are abundant – there are many superb golf courses within 5 to 10 minute drive away. There is also tennis, horse riding, water sports and of course the beach. You are also in very close proximity to mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region, which makes walking/hiking and cycling very popular.

Beaches can be found just 15-20 minutes’ drive away at Cagnes-sur-Mer, where there is also a wonderful seaside promenade for walking, jogging, cycling and rollerblading. Further to east and you’ll find yourself on famous ‘Promenade des Anglais’ in Nice and to west, beautiful sandy beaches of Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes.

Ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are just over 1 hour’s drive away if you fancy couple of day’s winter sports or during hot summer months, some nice refreshing walks!

Getting around by car is recommended, however there is local bus stop just 5 minutes from villa, which offers good bus connection between Sophia Antipolis and Nice, stopping at Nice-Cote d’Azur airport. Nearest train station is approximately 20 minutes away at Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage and this provides excellent train service along coast.

Sightseeing is endless; nearest places of interest are medieval village of Valbonne where there is lovely square with restaurants for al-fresco dining; Pont du Loup which has traditional French sweet factory for children; the town of Grasse and its perfumeries; perched village of Gourdon with its amazing views to sea; famous village of St Paul-de-Vence and its art galleries; old town and Matisse Chapel of Vence; the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes; pretty village of Tourettes-sur-Loup; Nice and its old town and port; nearby towns and marinas at Antibes & Cannes; glass makers of Biot; trip to glamorous Monaco and then over t border to experience divine flavours of Italy!

Other entertainment includes exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, wine tasting, art galleries, water park ‘Aquasplash’ & Seaworld of Marineland in Biot, plenty of activities ideal for families, or peaceful relaxation of surrounding countryside.
