The property is composed of two connected buildings, each set over 3 levels.
One side of the house opens onto a private terrace, the other onto a garden with a small heated pool (3 x 2m).
The configuration gives you plenty of space and options for eating and relaxing outside or inside.
The location is perfect! Gordes is one of the prettiest villages of the Luberon and you are within walking distance of the shops, bakers, restaurants, galleries and cafes.
The heated pool and air-conditioning in the bedrooms makes this a great place to stay and enjoy Provence.

The living room, equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, Blu-ray player and wifi access, opens onto the private terrace with great views
The fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area are on the same level and open onto the private garden, so you can dine al fresco or inside if you want to escape the sun.
The 3 bedrooms each have their own bathroom and toilet. 2 of the bedrooms have air conditioning.
Each bedroom is for 2 people and they are set up as large doubles, but can be separated into 2 singles.
The garage/ laundry room has a washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment. It also allows for storage of bikes and cycling equipment.
Outside is delightful; your small private pool is fenced and heated. It's open from April to the end of October.
You'll see from the photos that the the stone stairs are original and therefore can be tricky for young children. We do not recommend these stairs for elderly people with mobility difficulties and people with reduced mobility.
Bedding and towels are provided
Winter heating and air-conditioning are included in the rental cost.
Gas, electric & water are all included in the rental cost.
The end of stay cleaning fee is included in the rental
A cot and high chair are available for your infant
In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” for your holiday. It is 1.10 euro per adult per night.
The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros payable in advance of your stay, by credit card authorisation. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: is normally a Saturday but the owners may be flexible upon request.
Long weekend stays are also possible at this property outside of high season
Pets are not permitted at this property - sorry.
Smoking: is not permitted.
Private parking for 3 cars.
About the local area
This unique and fully renovated property is located in the Basse Fontaine district of Gordes, known as the romantic district with its stone streets, wash houses ... (where the photographer Willy Ronis and the painter Marc Chagall lived).
The location is calm and relaxing, with magnificent view from each of its windows.
It is located 10 mins walk from the village center and shops and is an excellent starting point for hiking or biking.
If you fancy some shopping, architecture or sight seeing, Aix-en-Provence is 75 km away, while Avignon is 39 km from the house.
The nearest airport is Avignon-Provence Airport, 29 km away.
Sports facilities and activities nearby include Tennis courts, walking and biking trails, horse riding, Golf and Kayaking
As you'd expect, there are some excellent restaurants in the area, not only in Gordes and the nearby villages but also in the countryside in large old properties.

I want to tell you how much we are enjoying this beautiful home.We appreciated every gorgeous detail- everything is simply stunning. My wife especially loves the colors and treatment of the floors, walls and all the details of the stone work. The wine was absolutely delicious as well! We will be very sad to leave tomorrow.
