Close to all amenities in the Rue Bonaparte and Place du Pin areas, it’s a short walk to the promenade and old town and convenient for the coastal train at Nice Riquier - you can visit the famous towns like Monaco and Cannes! Beaches can be found along the promenade and also nearby at La Plage Nautique.
It has a maximum occupancy of 4 and would be ideal for sharers or a small family, wishing to be immersed in this quarter which doesn’t cease to charm the Nicoise and tourists alike.

End-of-stay cleaning: priced separately so if you’re staying for more than 1 week you’re not paying more than once. Is 80 Euros and paid directly to the owner
Bed & bathroom linen: priced separately to give you the option to take your own (or in case the number of people in your party is less than the number of places). If you wish to hire these, they are available for 20 Euros per bed for linen and 10 Euros per person for towels, paid directly to the owner
Taxe de Séjour: In France it's usually necessary to pay this (tourist tax) and it's calculated based on the number of people in your group and the time of year you stay. Under 18's are exempt. We will advise you of the tax due at the time you make your reservation and how it is to be paid.
Damage deposit: the owner requests a damage deposit of 300 Euros by way of credit card, made with JDV in advance of arrival. This will be refunded at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages

About the local area
Local shops, boulangeries, supermarkets, restaurants & cafes can all be found a short distance away on foot, so no car needed! You also have a great selection of restaurants in the nearby old town, and a great choice of shopping in the department stores, designer shops and gift shops of Nice.
Local markets are held in Nice and Villefranche. The most well-known is held in the old towns ‘Cours Saleya’ and offers an array of olives, flowers, fruit, veg and local produce. There is also an antiques market held here on a Monday.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading along the Promenade des Anglais and of course the beaches. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here which makes walking and cycling very popular.
Beaches can be found very close by at the ‘Plage de la Reserve’ and right along the Promenade des Anglais. From here you can enjoy the sunshine glittering on the azure blue waters of the Med, watch the many boats crossing the ‘Baie des Anges’, and see the planes and helicopters coming in and out of the airport.
The ski stations Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are between 1 and 2 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around is very easy, you have the bus and train services which have a great network along the coast and further inland - Nice Riquier train station is also within walking distance. A car is really not necessary here.
Sightseeing is endless; you have the historical old town of Nice; the restaurants and yachts in the port of Nice; a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais; the views from the Chateau of Nice; the Museums of Art in Nice; the animals & plants at Parc Phoenix; the charming Mediterranean towns of Villefranche-sur-Mer and Beaulieu-sur-Mer; the coastal walk around Cap-Ferrat; the perched village at Eze; the casinos and port of Monaco; and the Italian border town of Menton. It is also possible to cross over the border to experience the flavour of Italy!
Other entertainment includes shopping, the casinos & nightlife of Nice, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides or just good old relaxing on the beach!
