The best feature of the accommodation is its position by the sea. It`s perfect for what I want. Clean, tidy, bright and airy. No praise is high enough for (local rep) Sandra, I know that I can phone her at any time should I need help with anything - Mr B. from Edinburgh, September 2018 (seventh visit).
Excellent accommodation. That`s why I return year after year. Everything is fine for my needs. Sandra, the local agent is really helpful, and is always on call if I need her help. I much prefer the personal touch used by Joie de Vivre. I feel I know Paul personally and he always answers any questions I have quickly. Dealing with one person is much better than contacting a call centre - Mr B. from Edinburgh, September 2017 (sixth visit)
Very good. Bright and airy. Everything was just perfect. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied -  Mr  B from Edinburgh, September 2016 (fifth visit)
We were very pleased with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place. However, we weren`t shown how to use the oven, which was slightly frustrating, especially when there was no backup with a microwave. Also, we were disappointed with the quality of the bed linens. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Mrs W from Florida,  May  2016
I am extremely happy with this apartment, which I have been renting for 4 years. Everything was perfect and special praise must go to Sandra, the local agent - Mr B. from Edinburgh, Sept 2015 (fourth visit).
Excellent location, welcoming, guidance and apartment itself - thank you for all! (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mrs H. from Sweden, August 2014 (has rebooked for April!).
Excellent. Very clean and bright, but it would be a great help if the instructions for operating the oven could be supplied in English as well as French. The drying lines for the washing require replacing, as the lines sag when hanging out even the lightest weight of clothing (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied. Any questions I have had have always been answered promptly - Mr B. from Edinburgh, Aug 2014 (third visit).
Very good experience from start to finish (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Ms G. from Hampshire, June 2014.
......excellent (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr J. from Finland, Dec 13 (2nd visit)
Modern, clean, bright and airy. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied with all my dealings with Joie de Vivre. Wish all companies were as good as yours - Mr B. from Edinburgh, Sept 13 (second visit).
Very clean and modern. Although the sofa bed was comfortable, it would have been better if the second bedroom had a bed instead (JDV: now changed to 2 single beds) . Sandra was extremely helpful and very courteous (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr B. from Edinburgh, Sept 12.
Great small holiday company, focused on getting the holiday experience just right. No fuss or panic and exceptional communication throughout process. Would definitely use again on next visit to France. Thanks again.  (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Mr L. from Worcestershire, Aug 12.
Overall the accommodation was excellent. My only complaint was that the pillows and bedding (not the sheets) for the sofa bed were stained to the extent that we had to go and purchase our own. This unfortunately did not give us a good first impression. The rest of the apartment was however, very clean. Paul Rhodes could not have been more helpful, ....and for this we were very grateful and very impressed with the professionalism of the company. - Mr & Mrs D. from Kent, July 12. (JDV say: regarding the pillows, the owner replied to say they had good pillow protectors, but agreed they needed improving. The bedding however was fine).
Excellent as last year, great location, lovely views, well set-up (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr H. from Warwicks, Apr 12 (revisit).
Very well presented (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr C. from West Berkshire, July 11.
It was fine, clean tidy etc. It looks better in the website pictures though, and I guess I was slightly disappointed when I arrived. That said, it was perfectly adequate and had everything we required. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Miss J. from Surrey, July 11.
...this is a very very good flat. Great balcony with a lovely view, spotlessly clean, very good quality interior, - cooker, showers etc, very spacious rooms. Good location with a nice park, the port, some shopping all walkable - Mr H. from Warwicks, Apr 11.
First class accom. Clean and tidy with superb views over port. Kitchen and bathrooms excellent. Could have a good hol just on the balcony! Lift a little slow - better than climbing 4 floors! Handy for restaurants, pubs, bakers, supermarkets etc. No noisy neighbours - very quite. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr B. from Aberdeenshire, Oct 10.
Spacious, clean, well-equipped with great views. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr M. from Dunbartonshire, Aug 10.
Finally we are back at home with great memories of Cote d`Azur. The apartment was outstanding. The location, view of the Nice Port from the balcony, fully equipped kitchen to cut a long story short everything was perfect about the apartment. We had a really great time and enjoyed our stay at this nice Nice apartment. Everything was perfect. We were very satisfied with the service. We would definitely contact with you if we plan to rent an apartment again in the Cote d`Azur area and we without any doubt will recommend you to our friends. Thanks a lot. - Mr N. from Turkey, August 10.
We had a lovely time in the apartment in Nice we would recommend the apartment to our friends. thank you very much for everything - kind regards, Miss B. from Middlesex, June 10.
Lovely comfortable apartment - had everything we needed. Sandra was very helpful. Nice was great. we had a lovely holiday and we will be back ! (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Mr K. from Co.Meath, Mar 10
Hi Paul, just wanted to drop you a quick line to say what a fabulous time we had!  I have to say that the apartment was better than expected, that good that I don`t think the photographs do it justice.  There was so much space and it has been done out beautifully and immaculately presented - we probably spent too much time there.  It was so lovely every morning to have breakfast on the balcony, even Roman Abramovic moored his yacht outside our apartment it was such a great spot! Wonderful views of the harbour and old town from both balconies. For us, the location was ideal, quietly situated, yet within walking distance of the busier town of Nice and also the surrounding local villages and places of interest - Ville Franche, Eze, Monaco etc - with a convenient bus route literally on the doorstep. Also, your represenative in France was very friendly and helpful. Especially on our last day, arranging care of our suitcases until out later flight and taxi booking. Many thanks for your help and organising once again! - Ms H. from Jersey, July 09.
Just want to say a big thank you for helping me with organising my holiday.  Really enjoyed the apartment and location was lovely. Just as the internet had said. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Very Satisfied - Miss G. from Belfast - June 09
We enjoyed our stay in Nice a lot, the sun shone almost flawlessly throughout our eight days and the flat was all you`d led us to expect. The owners representative was enormously helpful in every respect. The only thing I would like to have been warned about was the enormous flight of steps up to the door of the apartments and the slope - Mr W. from London, May 09.
