The bedrooms were spacious and the whole was clean. The view is good if you use the top balcony but if you are renting the apartment as a whole then the view is somewhat blocked.... the owner kindly lets you use the balcony for eating, but that does mean carrying everything up round the outside which is not really so good, it does need a big table and chairs outside the apartment..... the beds are very low indeed and rather firm but nice and wide. Parking is difficult as with 6 of us we had two cars, and it is very tricky to unload etc. especially as one is embarrassed at blocking the owner in. It is a big incline and approach. The best thing about the property for the price, is how spacious the bedrooms are and that each one has a good bathroom, quite basic but good considering the reasonable price. There are no sun beds as mentioned, and insufficient outside seating and tables considering it is advertised for 6 plus babies. We think there should be a proper means of cooking, not just a hob. The kitchen was well equipped with all that you need, but no small saucepans at all, for ie heating milk, gravy etc. We paid extra for towels and sheets and the beds were made up for us on arrival which was nice. The sheets and towels were ok. There was good storage space everywhere even in the bathrooms, and it was nice that there was a dressing table/desk in each room and plenty of hanging space. Overall the accommodation is good but if it was cold or wet, then the living areas would be small. The parking situation would probably mean we would not go again, and for some of the reasons above mentioned, but it is good value for the area. Thank you very much. Joie de Vivre was excellent throughout and Paul Rhodes exceptionally efficient and helpful - Mrs H. from Surrey, August 2014 .
