A stunning five bedroom house with spectacular views and great facilities.......one of our favourites!

Property Description

Minimum stay of 14 nights in July and August.

Prices shown are for 5 bedrooms June to September, 4 bedrooms October to May. Rental of the summer house from October to May is possible - please ask for prices.

Villa St Elisabeth faces south with a magnificent view, across a vast and spectacular private valley planted with truffle oaks, yet it is only two minutes from the village of Buoux in the Luberon National Park.

Seemingly miles from anywhere with its wide-open spaces, tranquility and wildlife, this lovely stone house is equidistant between the market town of Apt and the medieval and exquisite town of Lourmarin with its galleries and restaurants.

The surrounding countryside is very well known for rock climbing and hiking and with a fabulous old Chateau and an extraordinary medieval fort nearby, the area is also a painter and photographers’ delight.

Nestled on 120 acres of land with lavender fields, truffle oaks and natural bush land, Villa St Elisabeth is close what one imagines in the picture books of Provence.

It is a delightful two story stone house with sage green shutters and picture windows and doors framing beautiful views.

Inside the house are thick stone walls, tiled floors and exposed beams of traditional Provencal architecture.

Because of its position, light floods the house from sunrise to sunset.

There is also a pretty pool set away from the main house and a charming summer house with a guest room. Both also have marvelous views.

Property Features

The best things were the view, the outdoor patio for evening parties, the pool area,
fabulous local restaurant with stunning views that catered a dinner for 15.
The Location - absolutely drop dead fabulous - walks from the house, trips out, markets close by, friends staying in villages near by, we had a cocktail party one night for 19 and no one to complain about our having fun. But it is remote. 8 kms to the nearest croissant.
