Great activities for families on holiday in the South of France
Some ideas for your time in Provence.....
If you're feeling active and adventurous, you'll love the tree top/activity course, close to Lagnes, just east of L ‘Isle sur la Sorgue. It's for anyone 18 months + and great fun and value

Village des Automates is a lovely day out, perfect for children under 10 and quite unusual, in a very French way! There's plenty of shade, parking and snacks within the 8 hectares of woodland park. Situated 12 km from Aix en Provence at Saint-Cannat.

If you want to escape the sunshine and heat for a few hours, the Caves at Thouzon are a wonderful sanctuary at constant 13c. Everyone can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites

Try kayaking along the cool, clear water of the river Sorgue, with shuttle bus return to your starting point, which is handy.

Electric bikes have become really popular in recent years and they certainly help with the Luberon hills, for the small or less experienced cyclists. Sunny Bikes have several shops across Provence so you can pick up bikes locally to your accommodation
Some ideas for your time in Cote d Azur.....
Marineland and Aquasplash in Antibes are fun for an action packed family day out

Parc Phoenix close to the airport in Nice is a tranquil haven, a great place to wander, relax and enjoy the animals, plants and picnic areas

Nautical base in Mandelieu la Napoule
