This architecturally designed and stylish villa (200 sqm) has been built with comfort and practicality in mind. The wall of sliding glass windows ensures natural light throughout the whole house.
There is air conditioning throughout and each of the three downstairs bedrooms lead on to the terrace and the pool area. The master suite upstairs has a small private terrace.
The setting is beautiful and overlooks the Mediterranean and the Bay of Bandol and at night you can watch the lights twinkle on the water. There is a large salt water pool (10x4mtrs) with ample space to relax or you can stroll down to the local sandy beach.
Villa Souviou is 3kms outside the picturesque town of Sanary sur Mer where you can wander through the old cobblestone streets, or enjoy the local fare in one of the many port-side cafés. The town is bustling with daily markets selling their fresh local produce and locally caught fish, which is sold daily at the harbour.
This property is let all year round and is ideal as a base for those who like to tour the region from Provence to the West and the Cote d’Azur and Italy to the East.
Property Features
Living/Dining Room: A very spacious area with a wall of sliding glass to allow maximum light and ventilation into the rooms.There is ample seating in the lounge area where there is a large flat screen TV (satellite) and an iPod music station. The glass table and wicker chairs seats 8 people comfortably for inside dining.
Kitchen: Is very bright and spacious and equipped with every modern appliance. There is a round table and 8 chairs. Just a step outside on to the covered terrace there is a large wooden table and chairs for alfresco eating.
Utility Room: Is next to the kitchen and where you will find the washing machine. This also leads down to the garage.
Bedrooms: There are four uniquely designed bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. The master suite is on the top floor and has a sun terrace overlooking the sea. Each of the three double bedrooms on the ground floor (made up as singles or a king size double) has a large sliding glass door leading on to the front terrace and pool area. There is ample storage space in each of the rooms.
Bathrooms: There are three en-suite shower rooms with hand basin and toilet and the fourth bathroom has a bath, shower, hand basin and toilet. There is also a guest toilet with hand basin.
Outside: The large covered terrace runs the length of the property and the garden is laid to grass with lots of shrubs and plants. Off the kitchen there is a BBQ and large terrace with table and chairs.
Parking: There is ample parking for cars and there is a large double garage under the property.
Swimming Pool: The large (10x4m) salt water pool is at the side of the property and there is plenty of space for relaxing.

Bed and bathroom linens: These are included in the rental cost but please bring your own beach/pool towels.

Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 euros which is payable on arrival. This will be refunded to you, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

Long weekend stays and mini breaks: may be possible outside of the high season, please enquire.

About the local area
Sanary-sur-Mer is a bustling seaside town and port with bakers, butchers, grocers, a bank and a post office. The cafes, bars and restaurants overlook the port and beaches, all of which are within 3 km of this accommodation.
Sports Facilities: It's a great location for touring either along the coastal roads to explore the neighbouring villages, or heading north into the vineyards and the beautiful countryside. There is tennis and a golf course just on the doorstep.
Activities: Sanary has a wealth of history for you to explore. Once inhabited by the Romans you can go in search of the ruins and where archaeological deposits have been discovered in the port.
Markets: There is a market every morning selling fresh produce and flowers. You can also choose from a selection of fresh locally caught fish every day, which is sold by the fishermen on the harbour.
Restaurants: Fancy a change from cooking, then take a short drive to the harbour and port where you can choose from a variety of restaurants and cafés to satisfy every taste and pocket.
Supermarkets:You’ll find the nearest supermarkets in a Sanary and Bandol where you can choose from a whole array of produce.
