Tranquility abounds at Mas Bormani and once you arrive you will find it difficult to leave. The house is very spacious and as you wonder through the rooms you begin to wonder just where you are. The house, which was built in the early 70’s, is full of charm and comfort. Tuck yourself under the mulberry tree and let your mind drift away.
With so much space inside and out it easily accommodates 8 people. The 23 acres of woodland are there waiting to be explored and for those who like just to relax, the pool is refreshing and the views are stunning.
Mas Bormani is a 10 minute drive to Draguignan and where you will find everything that you require from your daily provisions to banks and restaurants. It is a busy and interesting town and is steeped in history. The owners have many books of information for you to peruse.
The house is available to rent throughout the year and the winters can be just as wonderful as the summers.
Property Features
Living Room: is very spacious and comfortable with French windows leading out on to the sunny south facing terrace and overlooking the pool. There are four comfy sofas and chairs for total relaxation. There is Sky free view TV (card available on request for all channels) and a DVD player. If the evenings turn cool there is an open fireplace.
Dining Room: this is a very pretty dining room, with its own fireplace, and fine furniture. The French windows open on to the terrace.
Kitchen: The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a large gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, mini wine fridge, microwave and ample working space for those who like to cook. The door from the kitchen leads on to its own terrace where you can sit and watch the sun go down while enjoying your aperitifs.
Utility Room: there is a washing machine and dryer.
Bedrooms: there are four bedrooms, two on the first floor and two on the ground floor. Each bedroom is spacious with ample wardrobe space. The ground floor bedrooms open up on to the south facing terrace. The third bedroom, on the first floor, has its own large balcony and leads down to the garden. Two of the room have twin beds and can be made up as a double or 2 singles.
Study: there is a large study where you can relax or catch up with your emails (wifi connection). Otherwise you can pour over the many maps and books of information on the huge glass desk while you decide where to go next.
Bathrooms: Three of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the fourth bedroom has a large family bathroom next door. The master suite has a large shower unit, a corner bath and double hand basins. There is a separate toilet. The second bedroom has a bathroom with shower over, hand basin and toilet, en-suite. The third bedroom has a hand basin and shower en-suite and the fourth bedroom has the family bathroom with bath, a walk-in shower, two hand basins and toilet.
Additional room: There is a large games room, with independant access and with a pool table, toilet facilities and 2 sofa beds.
Outside: There is a very large and attractive garden, with lots of beautiful plants, mature shrubs and olive trees and which extends out into the twenty three acres of woodland. Each of the rooms on the ground floor lead on to the south facing terrace which overlooks the pool.
Parking: There is ample room for parking at the front of the house.
Swimming Pool: the tiled pool is 12 x 6 metres and has an alarm. It is set in front of the house and surrounded by olive trees.
Internet: connection is available for your laptop via Wi-Fi.
Telephone: is available at the house.
Baby facilities: there is a cot and a high chair available
Bed and bathroom linens: there is additional charge of 15 euros per person/week
Winter heating: is not included in the rental cost
Gas, electric and water: is included in the rental cost
End-of-stay cleaning:.there is a charge of 100 euros for cleaning.
Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a ‘Tax de Sejour’ at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 1,000 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: is normally Saturday, but please enquire
Long weekend stays and mini breaks: may be possible, please enquire.
Pets: are permitted here.
Smoking: is permitted at this property, but outside only.

There is always a great variety of fresh produce, flowers and local wines and cheese, as well as lots of lovely gifts to take home. Don’t forget to sample the local wine from the Dragon vineyard.
Restaurants: As Draguignan is a large thriving town there is a large variety of fare to choose from.
