Villa Romasson is divided into two independent apartments and sleeps 6 on the ground floor and 7 on the first floor, equally it can be shared by  a group of 13 people......Prices shown are for the whole house, please enquire for the price of each apartment.

Property Description

  Villa Romossan is perfectly located for the town of Bandol, yet set in a quiet location. Within easy reach of the local shops and a short distance to the beach and bay of Bandol.
Villa Romossan is neat and tidy with a décor that is reminiscent of the traditional colour of the region. The ground floor apartment boasts a built-in bar where you can entertain those who like to share in an aperitif or bottle of fine Bandol wine.
The spacious villa is in a quiet location and overlooks the bay of Bandol.  Just a five minute walk will take you to the boulangerie, internet café, hairdressers and grocers. Also, a large supermarket where you can stock up on all your food and drink supplies.

The accommodation is ideal for 6 to 13 people sharing one property that has been converted into two apartments that has two independent entrances. The first floor has a large south facing balcony, where you can while away the evening and watch the sun set over the bay.  There is ample space for outside entertaining where you can enjoy the barbeques set in the shade of the pines.

Property Features

Living room/Dining Room: The ground floor apartment has a spacious open-plan living area with pretty dining furniture and comfortable seating.  On the first floor the living/dining area is open plan with ample space to accommodate a large group. Both apartments are south facing and overlook the garden. There is a TV (French only) in each apartment complete with a DVD player.
Kitchen: The kitchens in both of the apartments are very well equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and lots of cooking utensils.
Bedrooms: There are three comfortable double bedrooms in each of the apartments and there is an additional single bedroom in the first floor apartment. In each of the apartments, two bedrooms are south facing and the other is north facing.
Bathrooms: Both of the apartments have a large, bright and clean bathroom with a shower over the bath. In the ground floor bathroom the toilet in incorporated whereas the first floor toilet is separate.
Outside: There are two sets of white loungers, a garden table and chairs to accommodate up to 13 people and set in 1000sqm of garden.  There is a large balcony at the front of the first floor apartment, which gives access to the accommodation. There is a metal table and chairs and has a south facing aspect.
Swimming pool: Sorry, there is no pool.
Internet: Sorry, there is no internet at the apartments but there is a local internet café.
Telephone: There is no landline available in the apartments but there is a strong signal for mobile phones.
Baby facilities: A cot and highchair are available on request
Winter heating: This is available at an extra charge.
Gas, electric, & water: Are all included in the rental cost.
End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost unless necessary.
Bed & bathroom linen: Is included in the rental cost
Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. This has been included in the rental cost.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: Saturday, but arrangements may be accommodated.
Long weekend stays: Are available, please ask for details.
Pets: Are allowed in the apartments.
Smoking: Is permitted at this property.

About the local area

Bandol is the true seaside resort and is full of life all year round with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to entertain you. There are many sandy beaches, cliffs, inlets and creeks to visit, all surrounded by hills of pine and willows.
Activities: for those who enjoy an active holiday there is sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding and a golf course at Fregate which is just 10 minutes away. For those who like to relax, enjoy a Thelasso treatment.
Restaurants: You cannot fail to be delighted by the variety of restaurants in Bandol. Specialist fish cuisine prepared from locally caught fish to freshly made pizza’s, and lots of lovely seasonal salads.
Supermarket: You’ll find the nearest supermarket just 5 minutes away.
Markets: There is a weekly market beside the port on Tuesday. There is also a daily market just a short drive to Sanary-sur-Mer where you can purchase freshly caught fish every day and pick up your fresh produce and flowers at the daily market.
