Property Features
Please note there is sometimes some road noise in the garden due to the proximity to the RN7, but this is not excessive and the garden is screened for privacy by mature trees/shrubs.
Living room: The living room is well equipped, with comfortable furniture, a TV and even a small library.
Dining room: There's a separate dining room with a table and six chairs.
Kitchen: The kitchen has all of the equipment you're likely to need, including a dishwasher, cooker, fridge and freezer. The kitchen leads out onto the veranda - perfect for dining during the long summer evenings!
Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms within this property. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the second bedroom with two single beds.
Bathrooms: Within the property, there is a bathroom and a separate WC.
Internet: There is wifi internet access available at this villa.
Outside: The well-maintained garden basks in beautiful sunshine, perfect for taking advantage of the supplied BBQ and outdoors dining furniture. There's even a boules set supplied, as well as loungers and parasols for relaxing in the Provencal sunshine.
Swimming pool: Located in the sheltered garden, there's an 8m x 4m swimming pool. This is equipped with 'counter-current', for those who want to keep fit in the private surroundings!
Spa tub: Adjacent to the pool, the owners have recently installed a luxury spa tub, perfect for 4 people. It has a lockable lid for child safety and is the perfect spot to sip you evening aperitif!
Baby facilities: A cot and high chair are available on request, so please let us know what you’ll need when you book your holiday.
Winter heating: If you visit during the winter months, winter heating is included in the cost of the holiday.
Gas, electric, & water: These are all included in the rental cost.
End-of-stay cleaning: The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning, and this is included in the rental cost.
Bed & bathroom linen: This is included in the rental cost.
In France it is necessary to pay a taxe de sejour (tourist stay tax) and this is calculated based on the number of people (adults) in your group and the time of year you stay. Under 18's are exempt. We will advise you of any tax due at the time you make your reservation.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 600 Euros. This is payable on arrival, and will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: The change over day is Saturday during the high season, although during the low season flexibility is possible
Long weekend stays: These are not usually permitted during the high season, although flexibility is possible during the low season.
Pets: We’re sorry, pets are not permitted at this property.
Smoking: is not permitted at this property.
About the local area
The villa is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the small, Provencal village of Orgon where you'll find some small village shops, a medium sized supermarket, 4 boulangeries (!) and a couple of good restaurants. 5 km away is the town of Cavaillon - with several Supermarkets (open Sunday morning) restaurants, shops and cafes.
Orgon is situated on the edge of the spectacular Alpilles mountain chain and on the doorstep of the beautiful Luberon National Park
Based in the heart of agricultural Provence, a rich, varied and sun-drenched region of France
Close to the Roman town of Saint-Remy-de-Provence and Les Baux, famous for its superb rock formations

The owners were excellent and on site (although we spoke occasionally - they were happy to leave us to get on with the holiday). Nice welcoming bottle of wine and some fruit. Very functional base to extend experience of Provence beyond Orgon.Orgon seemed a bit of a mixed experience - perhaps on the tipping point of becoming a really nice town but some impetus required to continue the change

The villa was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The owners were on site and were very helpful and friendly. It was hot so the pool and air conditioning were invaluable. We were very comfortable, slept well and had a really enjoyable week - we would have loved to stay longer. Internet access and TV reception were poor - the owners were addressing this. It wasn"t a high need for us but was a bit irritating
