Villa Verez
General Description
- This beautifully appointed contemporary and sophisticated Villa is on the outskirts of St Rapheal Valescure and in a quiet tree lined avenue. The property is secure and has double gates at the entrance.
- Villa Verez has been tastefully refurbished throughout. There are 3 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a spacious, open and modern living room that opens out on to the terrace, and fabulous pool.
- This property can be let all year round and is ideal as a base for those who like to tour the region, from Provence to the West and the Cote d’Azur and Italy to the East.
The Local Area
- St Raphael Valescure benefits from an incredible 300 days of sunshine a year and translucent Mediterranean waters. The town offers a wide choice of sandy and shingle beaches, plus our famous "Calanques" (little fjords). It's a great location for touring either along the coastal roads to explore the neighbouring villages, or heading north into the vineyards and the beautiful countryside.
- Activities: The shuttle "Boats of Saint-Raphaël" provide fast connections to St. Aygulf, Port-Fréjus, the islands of Lerins, Saint-Tropez and Cannes. The whole region is steeped in history with plenty of interesting places to visit from the museum, the cultural centre, the art galleries to guided tours. There is a busy nightlife too.
- Sports: After trying your hand at the vast range of water sports, walkers, cyclists and riders can take off to explore the coastal footpath, the Estérel Hills and the Corniche d’Or coast road. There are 4 International golf courses nearby.
- Markets: There is a market every morning selling fresh fish on the Vieux Port and along the promenade every evening there is a general market. For your provisions there are plenty of large supermarkets.
- Restaurants: Fancy a change from cooking, then take a trip to the town centre where you can choose from a variety of restaurants, enough to satisfy every taste and pocket.
Facilities
- Living Room: The open plan feel throughout the living area continues out on to the terrace and pool, as you pass through the large open glass window. There’s a large comfy sofa, two chairs and a large flat screen TV with International channels and an iPod station
- Dining Room: This is next to the living room and has a large glass table and chairs for 6 people. The room also opens out on to the terrace.
- Sitting Room: Next to the living there is a pretty sitting room with sofa and chairs.
- Study: A spacious room with a large desk and lots of reading material.
- Kitchen: The L shape kitchen is packed with every modern convenience – fruit juicer, Magimix coffee machine, toaster, small indoor bbq, electric ice maker, microwave, washing machine, oven, 3 gas and 1 electric hob, a large American style fridge/freezer. There is a small table and chairs.
- Bedrooms: There are three spacious double bedrooms, two on the ground floor, one of which opens out on to the terrace and pool and the third is on the first floor, all with plenty of space for clothing.
- Bathrooms: Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom. On the first floor there is a shower room, handbasin and toilet and on the ground floor one has a bath, twin handbasins and toilet, the other has a walk in shower with a glass screen, basin and toilet. There is also a toilet and hand basin on the ground floor.
- Outside: On the terrace area, which is off the living and dining room and one of the bedrooms, there are outdoor sofas and chairs, a large table and chairs for alfresco dining, space around the pool for relaxing and a boules area at the rear of the building.
- Parking: There is parking for 3 cars on the drive beside the house and the property is made secure with large double gates.
- Swimming Pool. The pool is 15 meters long with a gentle slope into the water.
- Internet: Connection is available for your laptop via Wi-Fi.
- Telephone: There is no landline telephone at this property.
- Baby facilities: This property is not suitable for babies.
- Bed and bathroom linens: These are included in the rental cost. Please bring your own beach towels.
- Winter heating: Is not included in the rental cost
- Gas, electric and water: Is included in the rental cost.
- Mid week Clean: This is included in the rental cost.
- End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost during June, July, August and September.
- Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of £1500 or Euros which is payable with the final payment. This will be refunded to you, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
- Change over day: Is normally Saturday, but please enquire
- Long weekend stays and mini breaks: May be possible outside of the summer season, please enquire.
- Pets: Small dogs are permitted here.
- Smoking: Is not permitted inside this property - sorry
How To Get There
- By Car – You can enjoy the wonderful autoroutes in France, so if you decide to drive to St Raphael you exit the A8 at junction 38, then you are less than 10 kms from the town centre.
- By Air - The nearest international airports to this property are Marseille 120kms, Toulon 90 kms and Nice 45 kms
- By Train - The Eurostar/TGV high speed train runs from London to Nice.
