- The living area, kitchen and dining area share a large vaulted sunlit room with ancient high-beamed ceiling.

- Sited in a calm residential area, minutes from the Old Popes Palace in the ancient town of Avignon, the house allows you to indulge in the best of both worlds; take it easy by the pool or perhaps pamper yourself with the Provencal food that the region is celebrated for. With so many restaurants nearby, you will be spoilt for choice.
- Outside is just as delightful. Nestled in Pine and Olive trees, the house is independent and enclosed by a sunny garden which, like the interior, has many charming features. This villa offers the perfect blend of up-to-date amenities in an authentic setting. It is the perfect spot for a family to base its Provence explorations!
- If you do decide to stay at home and have a barbecue there is a good-sized terrace for outside dinning. The swimming pool is at your disposal, set in a lovely mature garden, which is shared with the owners whose house is located next door.
- Due to the owner’s great taste and thought, this especially designed holiday home is comfortable with plenty of light and space... Stunning beams and handcrafted iron work feature throughout.
The Local Area
- Within a short walking distance, about 10 minutes, are all the local amenities; bakery, restaurant and bar etc.
- Within just 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive you can be in historic Avignon, which is the capital of the Vaucluse. Once there you won’t want to leave; Home of the Popes of Avignon, fortified by its walls, this delightful town plays host to a film, theatre and dance festival during the summer months.
- Arles, Nimes, the Pont du Gard, St Remy de Provence, L'Isle sur la Sorgue and the Carmargue are just a selection of the many sights that are not too far away.
- Sports facilities include walking, biking and tennis close by
- Markets: Villeneuve-les Angles is the closest, but the brilliant situation of the property would allow you to visit all the famous markets of the area.
- Restaurants: There are just too many to mention, whatever your taste or price. The selection that Avignon has to offer is only minutes away.
- Supermarket: You’ll find the nearest supermarket is a 3kms drive

- Living room: The bright open plan sitting room with comfy sofas is perfect in summer or winter when a cosy fire is an additional attribute. The choice of having air conditioning throughout the house is yours in the summer months, under floor heating in the winter.
- Dining room: Part of the open plan living area with table and chairs
- Kitchen: A fully equipped American Kitchen, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher.
- Bedrooms: The main bedroom has a four-poster bed, with wardrobe and T.V. even a fireplace for the winter. The second bedroom has twin beds which could be bolted together to make a double bed, a fitted wardrobe. The third bedroom is on the mezzanine, it has a double bed and single bed with a desk.
- Bathrooms: the bathroom has a large walk in shower and freestanding bath with separate W.C.
- Swimming pool: 8.5m by 4.5m this is shared with the owners, and reached by your own private door

- End-of-stay cleaning: Can be arranged for 60€ if you do not want to clean yourself at the end of your stay

- Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
- Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 800 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you after the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
- Change over day: Saturday, flexible outside of high season
- Long weekend stays: Are possible on request outside of high season.
- Pets: are not permitted at this villa - sorry.
How To Get There
· By Car - Avignon is reached by several motorways the A7 and the A9
- By Air - Avignon airport is less than 30 minutes drive and you can fly there directly with Fly BE from Exeter and Southampton .Marseille and Nimes Airports are approximately 60 minutes drive away.
- By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 15 minutes away
