General Description
- This very spacious 4 bedroom villa, located up in the hills to the west of Nice, is set over 3 floors and has the most fantastic views over the surrounding hills, to the sea and the mountains.
- The property comprises of 4 good sized double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate WCs, a walk in wardrobe, a living/dining room, a kitchen/breakfast room, an additional recreation room with TV, HiFi and home Cinema, terraces, swimming pool, secured parking and gardens.
- It is located in a smart, quiet neighbourhood approximately 5 km from Nice town centre and its beaches.
- It is a great place to just relax and take in the views, and perfect for families with its recreation room, gardens and poolside barbeque.
The Local Area
- The beauty of this villa is that it’s in a quiet location yet very close to the town of Nice, so you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants, cafes, shops and markets!
- You’ll also be able to enjoy a stroll down the seafront on the Promenade des Anglais, admire the super yachts in the port of Nice (and hope for a invite on board) and wander through the maze of tiny streets in the old town of Nice.
- Apart from sightseeing, local activities include walking and cycling, sailing, golf, tennis and nightlife; skiing in the winter is only approximately one hour’s drive away so you can go for the day!
- You will need a car to explore this wonderful part of the world - local provisioning can be found at La Madeleine approximately 4km.
- At this villa you are conveniently placed to visit the famous neighbouring towns of Antibes, Cannes, Monaco and Villefranche-sur-Mer as they are all close by.
Facilities
- Like many villas in this hilly part of the world you enter this 3-storey property on the top floor and work your way down!
- The top floor has a very good sized master-bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a separate walk in wardrobe, a second double bedroom, a very large principle bathroom with corner bath, shower cubicle, bidet and vanity basin, and a separate WC.
- Steps then lead down to the middle floor where you will find a large living/dining room with French doors leading out to a dining terrace and the pool. The living room has a lovely fireplace, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi and even a small bar for preparing everyone’s drinks by the pool!
- On this floor you’ll also find the kitchen, which has a handy breakfast seating area tucked in one corner. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, bbq grill, fridge and freezer. There is also a washing machine and 2nd freezer in a utility area round the back of the villa.
- Down to the ground floor and you’ll find a very large bedroom with 2 double beds and French doors leading out to the garden, a bedroom with sofa-bed and door to the garden (please note without a window), and a huge recreation room with doors to the garden, sofa bed, TV, Hi-Fi, computer (no internet) and a home-cinema! There is also a separate WC on this floor.
- There is an oval shaped swimming pool with poolside furniture and a covered barbeque area adjacent. There is also a large garden with a great lawn for playing on.
- There is private car parking for 2 cars.
- It is usual in France to take your own bedroom & bathroom linen with you, however it is possible to rent these from the owner upon request, at a price of 30 Euros per person, per week.
- An end-of-stay cleaning charge of 120Euros is payable directly to the owner.
- Pets are accepted.
How To Get There
- By Car – Nice can be easily accessed via the A8 autoroute or the N7 and the villa is located a short distance from the N7 and the Promenade des Anglais.
- By Air – Nice-Cote d’Azur is the nearest international airport - approximately 8 kilometres away. There is a regular bus service from the airport to Nice town centre.
- By Train – Eurostar runs from London to Paris city centres and then the high speed TGV service runs from Paris to Nice.
