General Description
- This spacious 2-bedroom villa with pool is in a quiet location close to the
- The villa is approximately 110 sq metres and comprises of a comfortable living room, a galleried dining room, a modern kitchen, a dining terrace, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a separate WC, a swimming pool & outside kitchen, beautifully landscaped gardens and parking for 3 or 4 cars.
- There is also a separate studio apartment for 2 people, which may be available to rent separately – please see Gite Geranium on our website.
- It is in a peaceful location, with quick and easy access to Mougins,
The Local Area
- Local shops: the nearest village, shops, restaurants & boulangeries can be found approximately 1.5km away, and the nearest supermarket 3km.
- Local markets: are held in the neighbouring village of Mouans-Sartoux approximately 5km away.
- Sporting activities: in the area are abundant– there is golf, tennis, fishing, bathing, water sports and the beach.
- Ski stations: Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1.5 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of day’s winter sports! You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Massif du Tanneron here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.
- Sightseeing: is endless; at this location you are very close to the town of Cannes with its port, old town, promenade, designer shops, restaurants and festivals. You are even closer to the beautiful old hilltop village of Mougins where you will find some lovely restaurants. The old perfumery town of Grasse is also close by.
- Other entertainment: there are the potteries and the Picasso museum of Vallauris, the town of Antibes, Marineland at Antibes, and the city and port of Nice.
Facilities
- Living room: is large and bright and is tastefully furnished with comfy leather sofas. It has a fireplace, a TV (French & International), video & DVD player, and views across the surrounding countryside from the windows.
- Dining room: is on the entrance level, next to the kitchen and is on gallery overlooking the living room. It has a table, 4 chairs and other antique furnishings.
- Kitchen: is very modern with a breakfast bar and is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer & dishwasher.
- Utility room: is outside of the house and has a washing machine, iron & ironing board.
- Bedrooms: there are two bedrooms - the master bedroom has a double bed 160x200cm, wardrobes, a TV and an air-conditioning unit. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (one pulls out from under the other), both 90x200cm, and wardrobes.
- Bathrooms: there is one large bathroom with a corner bath & double washbasins. There is also a separate WC.
- Additional accommodation: there is an independent studio apartment, beneath the house & next to the swimming pool. The studio is split-level and comprises of Level1: a kitchen area with microwave, hob, fridge & freezer, plus a shower room with WC and hand basin. Level 2: a sofa bed. Level 3: a double bed of 140x200cm. Please see ‘Gite Geranium’.
- Outside: there are secured gates leading to a drive and carport for 3-4 vehicles. The gardens are approximately 600 sq metres, set on different levels with a large dining terrace & barbeque from the kitchen.
- Swimming pool: is oval shaped and approximately 9mx5m. There is also an outside kitchen next to the pool and there are 4 poolside sun loungers.
- Internet: connection is not provided here – sorry.
- Telephone: is not provided here – sorry.
- Baby facilities: there is a cot available upon request.
- Gas, electric, & water: are all included in the rental cost.
- End-of-stay cleaning: there is a charge of 100 Euros payable directly to the owners. Additional cleaning during your stay is available by prior request.
- Bed & bathroom linen: is included in the rental cost.

- Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros/week on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
- Change over day: is normally a Saturday but the owners may be flexible upon request.
- Long weekend stays: are not possible at this villa – sorry.
- Pets: are not permitted at this villa - sorry.
- Smoking: is not permitted inside this villa – sorry.
How To Get There
- By Car – The roads and autoroutes in France are a pleasure, so driving can sometimes make a good alternative to flying – at least you’ll already have your car with you! From the UK you have the choice of using the ferries or the Eurotunnel for your crossing. Once in the South of France, Villa Géranium can be easily accessed from the A8 autoroute.
- By Air – Nice-Cote d’Azur is the nearest international airport - approximately 32 kilometres away. There are daily flights from the UK with British Airways, British Midland, Easyjet and Jet2.
- By Train – Eurostar runs from London to Paris city centres and then the high speed TGV service runs from Paris to Nice.
