  • The villa is some 220 square metres, on 3 levels and comprises of a large living/dining room, kitchen, cloakroom, 6 twin/double bedrooms, 5 bath/shower rooms, 1 poolside bedroom with shower, terraces upstairs and down, a swimming pool, gardens and parking for 5 cars.
  • It is in a quiet location yet minutes from the entertainment and nightlife of Cannes and Antibes.
  • This villa is perfect for either a large group of friends, or 2 or 3 families holidaying together.

 

The Local Area

 

  • Villa Fuschia is situated in the hills between the famous towns of Cannes & Antibes, where the shopping and entertainment is endless.
  • In addition to these towns, local shops, restaurants, boulangeries and a small supermarket can be found approximately 4 km away in the small coastal town of Golfe-Juan.
  • There are local markets held in Antibes.
  • There are many sporting activities in the area – golf, tennis, water sports, yachting and fishing to name just a few.
  • Places worth a visit nearby are the charming old-town of Antibes and its port, the hilltop village of Mougins with its art galleries and restaurants, the monastery on Les Iles de Lerins, and the designer shops on the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes!
  • The villa is within easy reach of Nice International Airport and all that the Cote d’Azur has to offer.

 

Facilities

 

  • Living room: is furnished with 2 large sofas and has a fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows with stunning views. There is a separate area with television and DVD player.

  • Dining room: is open to the living room with table & 10 chairs and floor to ceiling windows.

  • Kitchen: is separated from the dining room with a breakfast bar and is very well equipped with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer with ice machine, coffee machine, washing machine and dryer, iron & board.

  • Bedrooms: there are 4 twin/double bedrooms on the first floor, all with their own en-suite bath/shower rooms, and great views. Bedroom one also has a walk-in wardrobe & safe. There are 2 double bedrooms on the garden level (basement), which share a well-appointed bathroom. There is also 1 twin/double bedroom with shower room, independent from the main house in a pool house – ideal for those wanting separate sleeping quarters, e.g. teenagers, grandparents, or au pair.

  • Bathrooms: there are 4 shower rooms and 2 bathrooms in total, plus a separate WC on the ground floor

  • Outside:  there is a gated entrance, with a drive leading down to 1 garage plus parking for 4 cars. The gardens are private, beautifully landscaped and suitable for children to play in. There are numerous terraces around the villa and the pool, with tables, chairs and sunloungers. There is also a barbeque.

  • Swimming pool: is private, approximately 10x6 metres, with a shower, and a glazed safety wall for young children. At certain times of the year the pool can be heated by prior request.

  • Internet: connection is available for your own laptop.

  • Telephone: is possible through the Internet.

  • Baby facilities: there are 2 baby-cots available at this villa.

  • Winter heating: is at an additional cost according to meters (please ask for details). This villa has air-conditioning.

  • Gas, electric, water, pool heating (and wood): there is a charge for consummation of all of these, calculated according to the meters (please ask for details). A utility deposit of 500 Euros is requested on arrival from which the cost of the utilities will be charged.

  • End-of-stay cleaning: a deposit of 400 Euros is payable directly to the owner on arrival and they will organise the final cleaning. Alternatively you may do the cleaning yourself and a minimum charge of 150 Euros will then be made by the owners to reorganise the villa after your departure (please request this at time of reservation).

  • Bed & bathroom linen: in France, towels and bedroom linen are not usually included in the rental so please remember to take your own. Alternatively, the owner can provide these at a cost of 30 Euros per person, per week. Tea towels, tables cloths and pool towels are also available to rent from the owner as supplement (please ask for details).

  • Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. For this property it is 1.20 Euros per person, per day.

  • Damage deposit: the owner requests a damage deposit of up to 5000 Euros on arrival in cash, or by credit card guarantee at least 1 week before arrival. They will ask you to verify and sign an ‘Inventory’ which lists the contents of the villa and their condition. The deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

  • Pets: are permitted at this villa upon request only.

  • Smoking: is not permitted inside this villa – sorry.

How To Get There

 

  • By Car – Golfe-Juan can be easily accessed from the A8 autoroute and the N7. The villa is located a short distance from the N7 and close to the town centre.
  • By Air – Nice-Cote d’Azur is the nearest international airport - approximately 20 kilometres away. There are regular bus and train services from the airport to Golfe-Juan and Cannes town centres.
  • By Train – Eurostar runs from London to Paris city centres and then the high speed TGV service runs from Paris to Nice.
