General Description
- A great property for friends and families, this property has been beautifully renovated with holidaymakers in mind
- Situated in the countryside, it is a traditional Provencal farmhouse set in 12,000m² of land, including parkland, an enclosed garden, a couple of terraces and a pool area.
- With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a large swimming pool, this farmhouse easily caters for groups of between 12 and 14 people.
- It's also ideally located for visiting many of the local towns and villages as well as the countryside and even the sea which is about an hour away.
- The owners, a lovely family, live at the opposite end of the property and are on hand to make sure that you have everything you need during your stay for a great holiday
The Local Area
- The house and gardens are situated just a couple of kms from the nearest village, Noves.
- Noves is a reasonable sized village where you can find most things that you will need; newsagents, boulangerie, grocers, a small supermarket, pharmacy, bank, a petrol station and post office.
- Within 10 - 20kms away its possible to take part in a host of other activities; golf, tennis, horse riding, cycling in the countryside and some fantastic walking country.
- There are plenty of villages in the immediate surrounding countryside, each one benefiting from its own traditional Provencal markets.
- Within easy reach is the town of Avignon, only about 20 minutes away, Arles with its Roman amphitheatre, les than an hour away, and Marseille with its numerous attractions at just an hour away.
- Mas Ste Catherine really is situated in perfect spot for touring the riches of Provence which are literally on the doorstep in every direction. To help you with this, the owner also supplies bikes for any guests to use, 6 adults and 2 childrens.
Facilities

Living room: There is a lovely sitting room, newly decorated and furnished, with two sofas seating 7-8 people.

Kitchen / Dining room: The kitchen is very well equipped with practically everything that you might need; there is all the crockery and cooking equipment for a large group, an oven, microwave, dish washer, fridge, a toaster, cafetiere and even an electric kettle!

Utility room: There is a utility room equipped with washing machine and also a large chest freezer.

Bedrooms: One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, a room with a double and a single bed, as well as space for a cot if required. All the other rooms are on the first floor. There are two doubles both with their own en-suite shower rooms, another triple room (three single beds) with its own shower room and finally another room with bunk beds and a pull out bed, which sleeps three in total.

Bathrooms: In total there are four bathrooms and three WCs.

Other rooms: There is a pool room which will keep the children (and adults!) occupied with a pool table and darts board and a couple of sofas.

Outside: As well as the enclosed garden, the terraces, the parkland garden and pool area, there is a great big BBQ, ideal for a big family Sunday afternoon feast! Outside but under cover is a table tennis table and if all that is not enough, there is an area to perfect your boules technique! Much of this is for your own private use but please note that some of the spaces are also communal with the owners family.

Swimming pool: The pool is a good size, 11 metres by 5.5 metres and it ranges from 1.2 metres to 2 metres deep. This is located at the other end of the house to Mas Ste Catherine and is accessed walking past the owners property.

Telephone: There is a telephone available at this property.

Baby facilities: There are high chairs and baby cots available upon request.

Winter heating: Is included in the rental cost.

Gas, electric, & water: These are all included in the rental cost.

End-of-stay cleaning: The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning for 100 euros, which is payable locally.

Bed & bathroom linen: is included in the rental cost and is changed every week.

Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 800 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

Change over day: Saturday only in high season, but flexibility is possible during the low season.

Long weekend stays: Possible upon request.

Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at this house - sorry.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
How To Get There
- By Car - Noves is situated approximately 20 minutes south of Avignon, 20 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 30 minutes to the east of Arles
- By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away
- By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 20 minutes away
