General Description

  • You will be made to feel very welcome at this 18th century farmhouse, right in the centre of Robion, which has been completely renovated to a high standard to ensure your comfort and enjoyment during your stay.
  • The five large bedrooms are beautifully furnished and three have their own en-suite facilities.
  • The spacious courtyard has been designed with the utmost care to make outside dining and entertaining a pleasure.
  • In the landscaped garden (600 sqm) the 9x5m heated pool, with a built in swimming stream, awaits you.

The Local Area

  • Robion is a beautiful Provecale village sitting at the foot of the Luberon Hills.  There are many small shops just a short stroll away - the boulangerie for your breakfast and quaint restaurants for a lazy lunch.
  • Being in the heart of the Luberon you are never far from all the well known towns of L'Isle sur la Sorgue for its fascinating shops and antiques, Avignon which is full of history and Lourmarin, St Remy and Aix en Provence for their charm and amazing shops.
  • Whether it's peace and quiet or activity you are looking for then this area offers it all, from a stroll or cycle ride along the quiet lanes amongst the vines or canoeing down the Sorge river at Fontaine de Vaucluse. Golf and tennis are also nearby.
  • Eating out, for either lunch or dinner, is a pleasure with so many restaurants to chose from around this region.
  • The local markets, held daily in the different villages, will bring your senses to life, with the aromas of herbs and spices, fresh flowers and locally grown produce. You can tease your taste buds by sampling the local cheese and wines. All of which can be enjoyed in your courtyard as the sun goes down!

Facilities

  • Living/Dining Room: This cosy room with its comfy sofas surrounding the large fireplace is ideal for relaxing. There is a large dining table and seating for 10 people.
  • Library: Relax in this lovely room overlooking the garden and pool where you can choose a book from the vast library and sit and while away the hours.
  • Games Room: You can play a game of pool or be entertained by the French and International TV or DVD and CD system.
  • Kitchen:  This is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker etc and a table and chairs.
  • Laundry Room: This room houses the washing machine.
  • Bedrooms: There are five double bedrooms and two of them are master suites. The third and fourth have double beds, which can become four single beds, are both very well equipped and share a family bathroom. The fifth bedroom with en-suite is independent and located outside of the main house.
  • Bathroom: There are three ensuite bathrooms. A master with bath, shower, 2 handbasins and toilet and a master with shower, two handbasins and toilet. Bedrooms three and four share a family bathroom with a shower, 2 hand basins and a separate toilet. The fifth ensuite is in the independent bedroom.
  • Courtyard: Leading from the front of the house the enclosed and private courtyard has a large covered dining area complete with a barbeque and a grand table and comfy chairs for 10 people. 
  • Parking: There is ample private parking for 4 vehicles.
  • Swimming Pool: The 9x5 metre pool is heated, has a perimeter alarm system, a ‘swim against the stream’ system and is situated in the large and landscaped garden. (There is a charge of 100 euros per week for heating in April and October.) There is also a solar heated outdoor shower.
  • Internet: Connection is available for your laptop via Wi-Fi.
  • Telephone: Is available at the house
  • Baby facilities: There is a cot and high chair available.
  • Additional Information:  It is possible to have some meals prepared for you and this can be arranged with the owner.
  • Bed and bathroom linens: These are included in the rental cost but please bring your own pool/beach towels
  • Winter heating: This is included in the rental cost
  • Gas, electric and water: This is included in the rental cost
  • End-of-stay cleaning: Thisis included in the rental cost.
  • Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 2000 Euros and can be paid by either bank transfer or cash on arrival. This will be refunded to you, less the replacement cost of any breakages..
  • Change over day: Is on a Saturday during the high season, but please enquire for other times.
  • Long weekend stays and mini breaks: may be possible during the low and mid seasons, please enquire.
  • Pets: Please enquire as pets may be accepted.

How To Get There

  • By Car –  A car is not necessary once you’re in Robion unless you want to explore the region. The nearest Autoroute travelling from the north or south is the A7 which is 10 ks from the property.
  • By Air - The nearest International Airports to this property are Marseille 60kms, Nimes 45kms and Avignon 30kms.
  • By Train - The Eurostar/TGV high speed train runs from London to Avignon and Aix en Provence.
