• Cavaillon is very close to Avignon and on the doorstep of the Luberon National Park.

• This gites is ideally located for all the beautiful sites of Provence.

• Avignon, with all its history (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes), the Festival de Théâtre in July, and numerous museums.

• The spectacular Les Alpilles chain of hills is just a 30 minute drive, St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence.

• L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is less than ten minutes away, famous for the Antiques village and Sunday market.

• La Route des Vins, "the wine road" (Gigondas and "les Dentelles de Montmirail", Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape) is also easily accessible.

• If its nature you're after, La Camargue National Park is an hour drive from here where you can find beaches and the traditional town of St Maries de la Mer.

·         Living room: The kitchen opens onto the living room where you will find a couple of comfortable sofas, a chest of drawers, a coffee table, a desk and two armchairs.  The neatly decorated living room provides plenty of space for more than two people.

·         Kitchen: The open kitchen is fully equipped with gas hobs and oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a washing machine. There is also a dining table if you want to escape the sunshine over meal times.

·         Bedrooms: The twin bedroom is located up an old stone staircase.  It contains two single beds, which can be pushed together, a built-in closet and an ensuite bathroom.

·         Bathrooms: The single bathroom is an ensuite attached to the main bedroom.  It contains a bath, toilet and sink.

·         Outside: The outside is a treat! The owners have created a beautifully landscaped garden, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful Provencal sunshine.  French doors open onto the private terrace, which comes with furniture, (including a BBQ), for eating al fresco during the long summer evenings!

·         Swimming pool: The freeform swimming pool blends in superbly with the surrounding garden, and is ideal for taking a quick dip, or doing a few lengths to burn off that hearty Provencal lunch!

·         Internet: Unfortunately, no internet connection is provided at this property

·         Telephone: Unfortunately, no telephone connection is provided at this property

·         Baby facilities: These are not available and I'm afraid that children are not accepted.

·         Winter heating: Winter heating is included in the cost of your holiday.

·         Gas, electric, & water: These are all included in the rental cost.

·         End-of-stay cleaning: The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning, and requests a fee of 50 Euros to cover this, payable locally.  This fee also includes the “Taxe de Séjour”, (see below).

·         Bed & bathroom linen: This is included in the rental cost.

·         Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the end-of-stay cleaning charge

·         Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 400 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

·         Change over day: The change over day is Saturday during the high season, although during the low season flexibility is possible

·         Long weekend stays: These are not usually permitted during the high season, although flexibility is possible during the low season.

·         Pets: We’re sorry, pets are not permitted at this property.

·         By Car - Cavaillon is easily accessed from the main A7 Autoroute de Soleil, just 5 minutes away.

• By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away. Nice is about two hours drive along the autoroute.

• By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away.
