General Description

·         Ideal for a family or two couples, this property is located in a traditional Provencal house, and guarantees a relaxing holiday in a secluded location.

·         The property is set over an 88m2 wing of a larger house, but has its own private entrance and garden area, as well as a pool shared with the owners.  The house is also south facing, ensuring that it receives maximum sun all year round!

·         Maison St Felix is located in Robion, a quiet Provencal village, but is still within a few minutes drive of the larger villages, and all the local sights, including Gordes, L’Isle Sur Sorgue, Cavaillon and, half an hour away, Avignon.

·         With two good-sized bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and a reading room, as well as 1.5 hectares of land, this property comfortably accommodates up to six people.

The Local Area

·         The cottage is located in a rather secluded location, surrounded by fields and olive trees, providing a great sense of space and tranquility.  The nearby village of Robion is a traditional Provencal village, with ramparts, winding streets and even a Roman church.

·         Located in the Luberon National Park, there are loads of outdoor activities available, including hiking, cycling, mountain biking and tennis.  There’s also golf and horseback riding located nearby.  And you can’t leave without participating in a game of the local sport, boules.

·         Robion itself hosts an open-air dance and music festival during July and August evenings at its antique open-air theatre.  Alternatively, places such as Cavaillon, (the melon capital of Europe!), Rousillon, with its ochre scenery, and Bonnieux, one of several unusual ‘hill-top’ villages, are all just a short drive away.  The larger town of Avignon is just a 30-minute drive away, and here it is possible to see sights such as the Palace Of The Popes and some of the finest examples of Medieval architecture in Europe.  I you fancy a swim, the Med coast is about an hour away.

·         The nearby village of Maubec holds a Sunday morning market every week from May to November, and the town of Cavaillon holds a weekly Monday morning market, selling a plethora of local foods and specialities, including the famous melons!  Many of the local villages have their own markets for you to explore, abundant with a variety local produce.

·         If eating and restaurants are a favorite, you will be spoilt for choice nearby.  Most of the towns and villages have great spots to get some good food and there are also some gems waiting to be found, tucked away in converted farmhouses in the heart of the Provencal countryside.

·         The nearest larger supermarket is located in the town of Cavaillon, 7km away
