General Description
- This charming, authentic and characterful town house has been lovingly modernised by the owners to make your stay unforgettable. Set in the heart of the village this three storey property is in an ideal location and the house is ideal for families or groups.
- The house has four double bedrooms and four bathrooms with the large kitchen/living room on the top floor, which extends out on to the grand south facing terrace, where you can while away the hours over a lazy lunch or just relax with your aperitif and watch the sun go down over the roof tops.
- Maison Miravel is available to rent throughout the whole year so is ideal for those who enjoy a bustling town outside of the summer season.
The Local Area
- Cogolin is a delightful medieval market town, bustling with boutiques, restaurants, bistros and bars. It is tucked away at the edge of the massif des Maures and within just 4 kilometers is Cogolin Marina and the beach.
- Activities: If you are looking for an active holiday then there are lots of things to enjoy from tennis, golf, cycling, fishing, horse-riding, mountain biking, go-karting to the more sedate games of boules.
- Sightseeing: The town is very picturesque with its narrow streets, the 11th Century church, ancient clock tower and fortifications. Cogolin is surrounded with glorious walks in the Massif des Maures hills, and the famous St Tropez and St Maxine are just a short drive away.
- Markets: At the markets on Wednesday and Saturday you can purchase fresh produce and flowers, Provençal herbs and spices, local cheese and wines from the local vineyards.
- Restaurants: You will have a great choice of cuisine in Cogolin with the many restaurants, tavernas and bars.
- Supermarkets: There are two large supermarkets in Cogolin, Casino and the-state-of-the-art ELeclerc with fabulous fish and cheese counters.
Facilities
- Living room: Is beautifully equipped with comfort in mind and has a convivial atmosphere. Step through the French windows on to a grand terrace to capture the stunning views of the distant mountains. Relax on the comfy sofas and be entertained by the stereo with iPod/mp3 dock, international satellite TV, DVD, video or radio, while remaining cool with the air conditioning.
- Dining Room: This is combined within the living room and is adjacent to the open-plan kitchen. There is a large extendable table and seating for eight.
- Kitchen: Is very modern and opens out to the dining room. There is an American fridge that chills wine in 30 minutes!, a dishwasher, a large range cooker, microwave and coffee machine with ample working space for those who love to cook.
- Bedrooms: There are 4 spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom, which is air conditioned, and with en-suite (bath and shower) are on the first floor. There are two other bedrooms also on the first floor. The bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite (shower).
- Bathrooms: There is a lovely modern family shower room on the first floor with a separate toilet, a shower room with toilet on the top floor and two en-suite bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one the first floor.
- Utility/Laundry room: This is a very spacious room on the ground floor with a Miele washing machine and tumble dryer alongside a large
- Outside: On the terrace there are plenty of garden chairs and two tables making it ideal for eating alfresco all year round. There is an awning to give you shade and a gas barbeque for home cooking.
