General Description
- Maison Rozat, located in the secluded hamlet of Les Sacqueton and on the edge of a beautiful forest, is an annexe to the owner’s property.
- This lovely spacious two bedroom property is ideal for a family or two couples. It is a gated property, ensuring privacy, with well maintained and beautiful gardens.
- The outside offers several areas where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful ambience of the area and there is a pool, which is shared with the owners.
- This is an ideal base for those who like to venture out and visit the local beaches or the pretty hilltop villages, but where you can still escape the madding crowds.
The Local Area
- The hamlet of Les Sacquetons is full of charm, surrounded by woodland and is just 2 kilometers from the pretty village of St Paul en Foret.
- There are lots of activities/sports facilities within easy reach of the property. At Lac de Saint Cassien there is kayaking, pedalos, fishing and horse-riding. If you enjoy hiking there are several beautiful trails from the property and for golf, you can choose one of the two courses close by. For a day by the sea, it’s just 30 minutes to the sandy beaches of Frejus. Within 1 hour you can enjoy the ski slopes(22) of Greolleres-Les-Nelges - a family resort. You can even take gliding lessons at the famous Fayence gliding school.
- With so many places nearby for sightseeing you will need to come back year after year. From the local hilltop villages of Fayence and Seillans, to the famous perfumeries of Grasse, not forgetting the shopping along the Croisette in Cannes.
- The local markets every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in Fayence will bring your senses to life, with the aromas of herbs and spices, fresh flowers and locally grown produce. You can tease your taste buds by sampling the local cheese and wines. All of which can be enjoyed on your terrace as the sun goes down!
- With so many local villages within easy reach you will have a vast selection of restaurants and café bars, where you can enjoy a variety of Provencal flavours.
- There are several large supermarkets in the area and the nearest is within a five minute drive.
Facilities
- Living Room: This spacious and comfortable room has two large sofas, an international TV, DVD and Video players. The French windows lead out on to the sunny south/east facing terrace. There are two free standing fans.
- Sitting Room: This is on the first floor. It has a sofa, TV and a wardrobe together with a mezzanine bedroom with two single beds and is accessed via the first bedroom.
- Kitchen: The kitchen is very modern and well equipped. There is a table and four chairs, a large fridge/freezer, a gas/electric hob and electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and lots of cooking utensils.
- Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms, both on the first floor. The first bedroom has a double bed and with a large wardrobe. The second bedroom is accessed via the first bedroom and has two single beds on a mezzanine floor which is above a small sitting room.
- Bathrooms: There is a bright and fresh family bathroom, equipped with a shower over the bath, hand basin, bidet and toilet.
- Outside: There is a large and very pretty garden with lots of beautiful plants, olive trees as well a variety of mature shrubs. In the front garden you will find a fish pond. Leading from the kitchen door there is a private, south facing terrace with a table and chairs and gas barbeque.
- Parking: There is parking at the front of the house for two vehicles and the property is gated.
- Swimming Pool: The 8m x 4m pool, which is shared with the owners, is at the back of the property and is surrounded by plants, trees and grass. There is a pool alarm.
- Additional information: The owner has suggested that it is not a suitable property for children under the age of 11 unless they can swim.
- Disability access: This property has suitable wheelchair access and an electric mobility chair to the first floor.
- Internet: Connection is available for your laptop via Wi-Fi.
- Telephone: Is available at the house.
- Baby facilities: There are no facilities at this property.
- Bed and bathroom linens: These are included in the rental cost but please bring your own beach/pool towels.
- Winter heating: There is an independent meter should you use the heating.
- Gas, electric and water: Is included in the rental cost.
- End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost.
- Damage deposit: The owner does not request a damage deposit, but in the event of any damages you will be asked to cover the charge of the replacement.
- Change over day: Is normally Saturday, but please enquire
- Long weekend stays and mini breaks: May be possible, please enquire.
- Pets: Small pets are permitted here.
- Smoking: Is not permitted inside this property – sorry.
