General Description

 

  • This spacious, modern 4-bedroom house is set within a private residence close to Antibes, and has two swimming pools and tennis courts.
  • It is approximately 90 sq metres and comprises of a living/dining room, a separate kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, a balcony, a large terrace and gardens and an allocated car parking space.
  • The house is very close to a large shopping complex, and has quick and easy access to the A8 Autoroute – ideally placed to tour the Cote d’Azur region!
  • It has a maximum occupancy of 8 people (plus babies) and would be perfect for 2 families holidaying together, or a group of friends.

 

The Local Area

 

  • Local shops, and restaurants can be found approximately 4km away in the nearby town of Antibes, and a boulangerie and very large supermarket/shopping complex approximately 500 metres away. The nearest restaurant is approximately 1 km.
  • Local markets are also held in Antibes every day except Monday. Here you can buy fresh local produce like fruit, vegetables, fish, cheese and olives!
  • Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is golf, tennis (within the residence), sailing, water sports and the beach. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.
  • Beaches can be found close by in Antibes (4km) and Juan-les-Pins (7km).
  • The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
  • Getting around is easier if you have a car, but there is also a local bus service in the area.
  • Sightseeing is endless; you are ideally placed here to tour the Cote d’Azur! The nearest places of interest are The Old Town and Port of Antibes, Cannes and its “Croisette”, the Old Town of Mougins, Vallauris and its potteries, Biot and its glass makers, the aquariums at Marineland, St Paul de Vence and its art galleries and the City of Nice.
  • Other entertainment includes shopping, the casinos & nightlife of Cannes, boat trips, cinemas, dining out, wine tasting, or just good old relaxing by the pool!

 

Facilities

 

  • Living room: is a good size with a fireplace, rustic ceilings, sofas, TV (French), DVD player, video, and French doors leading out onto the terrace on two sides.
  • Dining room: is combined with the living room and has a table and chairs for 4 people.
  • Kitchen: is separate from the living area, and is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a small table with chairs in the kitchen.
  • Bedrooms: there are 4 good-sized bedrooms in total. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with twin beds (90x190cm) and doors leading onto the terrace. On the first floor there is another bedroom with twin beds (90x190cm) and two bedrooms with double beds (190x160cm), one also having French doors to a balcony.
  • Bathrooms: on the ground floor there is a shower room with a WC; on the first floor there is an independent bathroom with bath, shower over and 2 washbasins; there is also an independent WC; from the main double bedroom there is an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and WC.
  • Outside: there is a large south and east facing terrace, which wraps around the back corner of the house, with tables and chairs for 10 people. There is also a large barbeque and sink area for lots of alfresco cooking and dining! The gardens are all around the house, with a lawn, olive and mimosa trees. For parking, there is one allocated place and some additional visitors spaces in the nearby car park.
  • Swimming pool: you have a choice of 2 large swimming pools within this private residence and they are open from May to September. There are also some tennis courts available.
  • Internet: connection is available here via Wi-Fi.
  • Telephone: is available by prior request and upon payment of a deposit.
  • Baby facilities: a baby cot can be made available upon request.
  • Winter heating: is included in the rental cost. This property also has air-conditioning in 3 of the bedrooms.
  • Electric & water: are both included in the rental cost.
  • End-of-stay cleaning: is included in the rental cost.
  • Bed & bathroom linen: are all included in the rental cost.
  • Taxe de Séjour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. Here, it has been included in the rental cost.
  • Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
  • Change over day: is normally a Saturday but the owners may be flexible upon request.
  • Long weekend stays: are possible at this property depending upon the time of year – please ask for details.
  • Pets: are permitted at this property.

How To Get There

 

  • By Car – The roads and autoroutes in France are a pleasure, so driving can sometimes make a good alternative to flying – at least you’ll already have your car with you! From the UK you have the choice of using the ferries or the Eurotunnel for your crossing. Once in the South of France, this property can be easily accessed via the A8 autoroute.
  • By Air – Nice-Cote d’Azur is the nearest international airport – approximately 20 kilometres away. There are daily flights from the UK with British Airways, British Midland, Easyjet and Jet2. There are regular bus and train services from the airport to Antibes town centre.
  • By Train – Eurostar runs from London to Paris city centres and then the high speed TGV service runs from Paris to Nice. The nearest train station to this property is Antibes, approximately 4km away.
