General Description
- These modern, air-conditioned holiday homes are in a great location on a private pedestrianised island in the heart of the harbour of Cap d'Agde. Each has their own private mooring (for boats up to 24m long - please enquire).
- The houses are terraced and form part of group of 64 similar holiday homes on the island.
- This property sleeps 6-8 people (maximum including babies and chidren).
- It has a view over the port of Cap d'Agde - great during the day and particularly nice in the evening.
- There's an exterior terrace for relaxing and alfresco dining and a small private garden complete with a private outdoor whirlpool - just perfect for a relaxing in after a day's sightseeing.
- The size of the property is approximately 120 sq.m., it is split-level and comprises; 3 bedrooms; one double, two twins, 2 bathrooms, 2 wc's, a spacious open plan living area with sliding doors opening out onto the terrace and garden and a well-equipped kitchen. There is plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes.

- These attractive terraced properties with a small garden are separated from each other by a hedge or a fence. They are well designed, and decorated and furnished simply in a minimalist, modern style.
The Local Area
- Cap d'Agde is a lively resort in the summer months with lots of local festivals and celebrations taking place. It's an ideal place for a family holiday and has 10 kilometres of fine sandy beaches and cliffs. Life in Cap d'Agde revolves around the port area with its small squares, lively quays, shops, cafe-bars and restaurants.
- A holiday in Cap d'Agde offers you 4 resorts in one: Le Cap d'Agde - a modern beach resort with plenty of fun for the whole family, Grau d'Agde - a pretty picturesque fishing village, the historic town of Agde dating back over 2,600 years and finally La Tamarissiere, a tranquil haven in the midst of a pine forest.
- Sports facilities: Swimming and watersports from no less than 11 beaches in the area,scuba diving, snorkeling, jet ski-ing, sailing, sea fishing, parascending, golf, tennis, cycling, badminton, archery, horse riding, coastal walks.
- Activities: There is so much to see and do in and around Cap d'Agde - nautical jousting tournaments in July and August, boat hire on the Canal du Midi, visit the ancient and interesting city of Agde, the various museums, cathedrals and churches, and Fort Brescou. Further afield: Sete, Marseillan (lovely port + the Noilly Prat distillery), Meze, Narbonne, Carcassonne, Beziers and even a day trip to Spain. For children: the water theme park Aqualand, dinosaurs at Dino Park, and a big wheel and fun fair at Luna Park. Cap d'Agde also has a naturist beach.
- Markets: the 4 areas of Cap d'Agde all have markets and in summer there's one somewhere on almost all days of the week filling the local streets with the wonderful colours of the fresh local produce.
- Restaurants: sea food is a speciality on this coast. There is a very wide variety of restaurants and cafe-bars in Cap d'Agde to suit all budgets and tastes - many of them are in the area of the port. Nightlife: for those of you looking for night clubs and discotheques - you'll find a good choice here!
- Supermarkets: the town has a variety of small supermarkets, the larger ones on the edge of the town
Facilities
- Open plan living room, dining room and kitchen: Air-conditioned and spacious with comfortable modern furniture, a TV receiving mainly French channels and a dining table with 8 chairs. In the living room is a double sofa bed that provides the sleeping accommodation for 2 if required.
- Sliding glass doors from the living room open out onto the covered terrace/garden.
- The kitchen has a ceramic hob, cooker hood, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is also a security alarm.
- Bedrooms: There are 3 air-conditioned bedrooms sleeping 6 in total; one has a double bed and the other two have twin beds. All rooms are bright and airy. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. There is ample storage and hanging for your clothes.
- Bathrooms: There are 2 bathrooms with washbasins, a bath with a shower attachment over and 2 separate WC's.
- Additional Accommodation: We offer two other types of accommodation on Isle Saint-Martin. . Please enquire for details. Accomodation Note: This property is a Lagrange Prestige property.
- Outside: There's a private covered terrace furnished with an outdoor dining table, chairs and a parasol. In the private garden is a outdoor whirlpool. Sunloungers are provided. Each holiday home has an underground garage with space for 2 cars (max. headroom 2 metres).
- Swimming Pool: There is no pool here as the properties are just 1km from the nearest beach.
- Photographs: Please note the photos are not contractual.; the properties are similar but not identical.
- Telephone: The property does not have a fixed landline. Mobile phone signals in the region are generally good. There is also a telephone booth 100 metres away.
- Baby Facilities: It is possible to hire a baby kit (cot, linen, high chair and baby bath) for 40 euros per week, payable direct, please let us know if you require this at the time of booking.
- Winter Heating: not applicable, or included, as this property opens in April and closes in early November.
- Gas, electric and water: are all included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: is not included in the rental price and the property must be left clean on departure. The end of stay cleaning charge (excluding the kitchen) is £140. If you wish to take this option which we recommend please let us know - it is payable at the time of booking.
- Bed and bathroom linen: are included in the rental price for the no: of people on the booking form. A change of bed linen and towels is priced at 6 euros per change per person and is payable direct. Should you prefer to have the beds to be made for you on arrival, please let us know, the cost is £45 which is payable at the time of booking. If you wish to take both the 'beds made on arrival' and 'the end of stay cleaning' options, the total cost is £175, payable upon booking.
- Taxe de sejour: In France it is necessary to pay a taxe de sejour at the end of your stay. It is payable on arrival here at the guide rate of 1.05 euros per person per day.
- Damage Deposit: The owners request a damage deposit of 800 euros payable by credit card upon arrival. This will be refunded to your card shortly after the end of your stay less the replacement cost of any breakages or damage. A charge may also be incurred if the accommodation is not left clean on departure, so we do recommend that you take the end of stay cleaning option.
- Change Over Day: Saturday in High season - other days except Weds and Sunday possible (if available) up to 7th Jul and after 15th Sept. Check In time: Strictly 4pm - 8pm. Check Out time: 8am - 10am. The Reception is not open on Sundays and Wednesdays.
- Short Breaks: Two nights minimum up to 7th July and after 15th Sept (no arrivals or departures on a Weds or a Sunday) - please enquire for the price per night and availability.
- Pets: may be permitted here with prior permission - please enquire. There is a supplementary charge of 44 euros per week per pet.
How To Get There
- By Car: The nearest exit from the A9 autoroute is No: 35 or No: 36 if travelling North from Spain. The town of Cap d'Agde is 25 kms from Beziers and Sete.
- By Air: Beziers/Cap d'Agde airport (15kms) is the most convenient serviced by Ryanair www.ryanair.com and Flybe. The next nearest airport is then Montpellier (60kms). Good alternatives in the region are Carcassonne, Nimes, Perpignan, and Girona (N. Spain).
- By Train: Please consult the link to RAIL EUROPE which you will find on our Home Page for details of trains and tickets to the region. The nearest station is Cap d'Agde (6 kms).
