General Description

  • The allure of Provence - its blue skies, musical cigalles (crickets) and endless sunshine can be wholly enjoyed in this outstanding renovated farmhouse. This one bedroomed, first floor appartment has shared use of the swimming pool and badminton/volleyball court for when you’re feeling energetic,  along with plenty of private corners for topping up the tan or having time out relaxing.
  • Traditionally restored yet retaining its Provencal heritage, the exterior and interior of this 17th century house is truly inspiring. The owners, who have their own home on the premises, have used local materials throughout the apartment and the colourfully decorated interior creates a vivid but calming environment.
  • Within the 15 private hectares of the estate there are various areas with tables and chairs, ideal for savouring the local wine or having a barbecue. The large secure swimming pool area has ample room for sun beds, or maybe  you’d like to try  your hand at France’s favourite game, boule.  The owners have established a small protected lake which has a variety of ducks - always a source of delight for the children and nature lovers.

Here you will find your nearest shops including the bakery, café, bar and restaurants.
  • The Mediterranean sea, the Carmargue, the Luberon Mountains with its lavender and hill top villages, historic cities such as Avignon and artists’ haunts, Aix en Provence, Arles, Nimes, Saint Remy de Provence- All are accessible within an hour or less by car.
  • Walking, biking, horse riding, karting, tennis, wine tasting can be enjoyed locally.
  • The market in Carpentras is famous for truffles in the winter months but in the summer juicy ripe Cavaillon melons are found accompanied by peaches, apricots and all the delicious fruit and vegetables of the region, plus pottery, linens, cheeses, and local farm produce. The well known antiques market at Islesur le Sorgue where you may want to try your hand at bargaining is a 15 minute car journey.
