• Pleas note that this property is not available to rent in July and August as it is rented with the neighbouring property (see note below)

The Local Area

• The property is situated just 5 minutes away from the beautiful hilltop village of Gordes, and is close to a number of other charming Provencal villages

• The local villages are all well serviced with bakers, butchers, grocers and restaurants

• There are weekly markets, cafes, bars and restaurants in all of the local villages.  Markets can also be found at a host of larger local towns, such as Isle sur le Sorgue, Cavaillon, Apt

• Sports facilities and activities nearby include walking and biking trails, horse riding, golf and kayaking in L'Isle sur La Sorgue

• You’ll find the nearest larger supermarkets in Cavaillon, L'Isle sur la Sorgue or Apt all within 10kms

Facilities

• Living room: There is an open-plan living area with kitchenette on the ground floor, comfortably furnished for two people, which retains a traditional Provencal feel
• Kitchen: The open plan kitchen is equipped with everything that you’re likely to need, including a microwave, electric hotplate, dishwasher and fridge/freezer
• Bedrooms: The double bedroom, (also available as a twin), is located up a traditional stone staircase
• Bathrooms: Upstairs, there is a bathroom with WC and shower, as well as a separate WC.
• Outside: The property faces onto a large courtyard, which is overlooked by other buildings on the property. It also has a covered terrace, as well as access to on-site tennis courts, (although these are not in pristine condition)
• Swimming pool: There is access to a good-sized swimming pool, which is occasionally shared with the owners.
• Baby facilities: These are available on request
• Winter heating: Winter heating is included in the cost of the property.
• Gas, electric, & water: These are all included in the rental cost.
• End-of-stay cleaning: The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning, and this is included in the rental cost.
• Bed & bathroom linen: This is included in the rental cost.
• Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
• Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 350 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
• Change over day: The change over day is Saturday during the high season, although during the low season flexibility is possible
• Long weekend stays: These are not usually permitted during the high season, although flexibility is possible during the low season.
• Pets: We’re sorry, pets are not permitted at this property.  

How To Get There

• By Car - Follow directions to Gordes, a 30 minute drive from the exit for 'Cavaillon' on the motorway A7 

• By Air - Marseille Avignon and Nimes Airports are the nearest - all less than a  60 minute drive away

• By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 50 minutes away
