·         One of the most attractive features of this pretty four bedroom, two bathroom property (with sleeping for up to eight), is its´ extensive living space within the villa, the huge amount of land surrounding the property and its´ peaceful location. The outside terrace is perfect for enjoying the stunning countryside and relaxing after a dip in the pool! 

·         Panoramic views and beautifully tended gardens - lovingly refurbished by its´ owners - this property is also popular for wedding receptions.

·         Decorated throughout to an incredibly high standard, in keeping with the traditional country villa style, this property also has all the modern accessories necessary for a stress free holiday.

The Local Area

·         Beaches: Only 15 minutes from the nearest beaches, Cana Sonia has an amazing location in the heart of rural Ibiza. Highly recommended are the beaches of Cala D´Hort, Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida and Cala Bassa – all on the South West coast, affording amazing sunsets and not to mention shallow crystal clear waters.  Ideal for water sports, perfect for the kids and simply enjoying the sun on some of the most unspoilt beaches in the Mediterranean.  All of these coves have at least two or three locally run restaurants offering the best in local and international cuisine.  Not to be missed!

·         San Rafael: Dominated by its 18^th century church, San Rafael is one of the most authentic and at the same time sophisticated lbicenco villages. There is something to suit everyone here.  A plethora of local bars and restaurants as well as two of the most popular restaurants with the rich and famous – L´Elephant and El Ayoun.   

·         Sightseeing:  The old town of Ibiza, known locally as “Dalt Villa” is only a twenty minute drive away.  So well preserved is its´ medieval castle, that it has been named a World Heritage sight.  Every May a medieval fair is held in its streets, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of Ibiza in centuries past.

·         Shops:  Local shops close in San Rafael mean that whatever you need is on hand and with San Antonio and Ibiza town close by, whether you are looking for a local ceramics, a present to take home, or the latest designer fashion, it is all within easy reach.

·         Getting around: Local buses are plentiful and run practically around the clock, but order to make the most of the surrounding area, a car is recommended.

·         Dining:  San Rafael is so famous for its excellent restaurants it is hard to know where to begin.  Family run restaurants offering the fresh fish of the day and mouth watering tapas, to some of the most sophisticated dining in the world.  Wines from around the world and of course the highly potent local liqueur – “Hierbas”.  You have been warned!

·         Nightlife:  Ibiza is world famous for its´ nightlife and for those who couldn´t go home without having experienced it, Cana Sonia has the amazing advantage of only being a 10 minute drive away from Amnesia and Privilege.

Facilities

·         Living room: spacious and airy, comfortably furnished with blue sofas, overhead fan, modern furniture and stone flooring. Plasma TV (International) and a DVD player. There are French windows all around the living room, opening onto the terrace.

·         Dining room: combined within the living room and has large table and chairs for 6 people.

·         Kitchen: very modern and well-equipped for cooking and dining. It has an electric oven & hob, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster and coffee machine. There are French doors out onto the utility room and terrace and dining room.

·         Utility room:  iron & ironing board.  Washing machine.

·         Bedrooms: Four in total.  Two twin bedrooms and two doubles, all decorated to a very high standard and in keeping with the style of the house.  All four bedrooms are light and sunny with lovely views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.

·         Bathrooms: Two modern stylish bathrooms, with state of the art fittings.  Both with showers and one with huge corner bath ideal for some quality relaxing!

·         Outside:  Private parking, large terrace for outside dining.  Swimming pool and beautifully tended lawn area.

·         Swimming pool: Private 12 x 6 metre swimming pool – south facing with the sun all day and plenty of sunbeds!

·         Internet:  not available here - sorry.

·         Telephone:  There is no landline telephone available at this property, but mobile reception is good.

·         Baby facilities: baby cot is available here upon request.

·         Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 1500 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

·         Bed & bathroom linen: included in the rental cost.

·         Gas, electric & water: all included in the rental cost.

·         Winter heating: has been priced separately, to give you the option to use it. It is charged at the rate of 25 Euros per week, paid directly to the owner. There is also air cooling in the bedrooms and living room, and this is included in the price of a summer rental

·         End-of-stay cleaning: included in the rental cost.

·         Change over day: normally a Saturday however the owners may be flexible upon request. Stays of 2 week duration are preferred, but not essential, during July & August.

·         Long weekend stays:  Possible here - please ask for details.

·         Pets:  permitted here upon request - please ask for details.

·         Smoking: Permitted inside this property

·         Supplementary services: the owner is able to arrange the following services for you, at a supplement: Babysitter, Masseur, Chauffeur, Daily cleaner, Chef.

How To Get There

 

 

 

 

·         By Air – Ibiza airport is only a 20 minute drive away.  There are daily flights from the UK and worldwide - please see the timetables here www.aena.es.  There are regular bus services from the airport every fifteen minutes.  Taxis are also available at the airport and cost approximately 35 euros.
