General Description

· One of the most attractive features of this spacious one bedroom, one bathroom property (with sleeping for up to three) is its´ large terrace perfect for alfresco dining, not to mention breakfast with the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean and unrivalled views of the neighbouring island of Formentera.
· Equipped to a very high standard with all the modern accessories necessary for a relaxing holiday.
· Set in a fantastic location on one of Ibiza’s most famous (and longest) beaches. Shallow crystal waters, white sand, a plethora of restaurants and shops on your doorstep and the added advantage of being in one of the quietest parts of this resort - yet within walking distance of everything, including Ibiza old town with its´ medieval castle, romantic cobbled streets and sophisticated night life.
· With its´ unique location this apartment is just as perfect for a couple or group of friends as it is for families with young children. No end of things to do from the nearby water park, children’s park and mini golf, to sophisticated dining and one of the most famous night spots in all of Europe. And all this in a great apartment quiet enough to get away from it all when you only want the waves as company!
The Local Area
· Beaches: The ideal location for beach lovers, Cana Joana is situated on the longest stretch of beach on the island. Shallow waters and wide sandy beach make it ideal for children. Not to mention that is only ten minutes away from the very famous beaches of Salinas and Es Cavallet for those who want to do some star spotting..
· Sightseeing: The old town of Ibiza, known locally as “Dalt Villa” is only a ten minute drive away. So well preserved is its´ medieval castle, that it has been named a World Heritage sight. Every May a medieval fair is held in its streets, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of Ibiza in centuries past.
· Water Sports: There are a myriad of water sports to chose from including water skiing, diving, sailing, windsurfing and kitesurf along with pedaloes for the lest adventurous!
· Shops: Local shops close to the apartment mean that whatever you need is on hand and with Ibiza town so close by, whether you are looking for a locally woven bag, or the latest design from Prada it is all on your doorstep.
· Dining: Playa D´en Bossa has so much choice it´s hard to know where to begin. Local restaurants that have been run by the same family for generations, offering the fresh fish of the day, to dining from around the world. Health bars and hamburgers - all of which with the Mediterranean as the backdrop.
· Nightlife: Ibiza is world famous for its´ nightlife and for those who couldn´t go home without having experienced it, Cana Joana has the amazing advantage of only being a 10 minute walk away from Bora Bora and Space.
Facilities
· Living room: entrance hall, beautifully furnished with cream sofas, luxurious soft furnishings, modern furniture and tiled flooring. It is furnished with a sofa-bed and a large plasma TV (International). There are French windows all around the living room, opening onto the terrace
· Terrace: Looking out on to the med with the beach right below. Dining for up to four. Unbeatable views!
· Kitchen: very modern and well-equipped for cooking and dining. It has an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and coffee machine. There are French doors out onto the terrace.
· Bedrooms: One in total with large double bed and fitted wardrobes. Spacious and comfortable and decorated to a high standard. There is additional sleeping for a further 1 person in the living room.
· Bathrooms: Two modern stylish bathrooms, both with baths that have showers over. Both bathrooms are large with washbasins and WC.
· Outside: Private parking, tended gardens and 24 hour security.
· Internet: not available here - sorry.
· Telephone: There is no landline telephone available at this property, but mobile reception is good.
· Baby facilities: baby cot is available here upon request.
· Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
· Bed & bathroom linen: included in the rental cost.
· Gas, electric & water: all included in the rental cost.
· Winter heating: has been priced separately, to give you the option to use it. It is charged at the rate of 25 Euros per week, paid directly to the owner. There is also air cooling in the bedrooms and living room, and this is included in the price of a summer rental
· End-of-stay cleaning: included in the rental cost.
· Change over day: normally a Saturday however the owners may be flexible upon request. Stays of 2 week duration are preferred, but not essential, during July & August.
· Long weekend stays: Possible here - please ask for details.
· Pets: permitted here upon request - please ask for details.
· Smoking: Permitted inside this property
Supplementary services: the owner is able to arrange the following services for you, at a supplement: Babysitter, Masseur, Chauffeur, Daily cleaner, Chef, Yacht charter.
How To Get There
· By Air – Ibiza airport is only a 5 minute drive away. There are daily flights from the UK and worldwide - please see the timetables here www.aena.es. There are regular bus services from the airport every fifteen minutes. Taxis are also available at the airport and cost approximately 20 euros.
