The Local Area
· Beaches: Only 5 minutes from the nearest beach, Can Vicente has a unique location in the unspoilt north of the island. Benirrás beach, a favourite for snorkelling, is a short ride away. A beautiful approach brings you to this small bay surrounded by pine clad hills, with two beach restaurants (both famous for excellent fish) and a quaint beach bar – perfect for sampling the local liqueur whilst listening to the live music at sun down.
· San Miguel: The north of the island could not be more different from the south and nothing demonstrates this more than the village of San Miguel. With its whitewashed buildings and 18th century church, it is without doubt, a taste of the real Ibiza and only a ten minute drive away!
· Sightseeing: No visit to San Miguel is complete without seeing the Can Marca caves. Over 100,000 years old, the caves were first used by smugglers and are exceptionally well preserved today.
· Water Sports: There are a myriad of water sports to chose from including water skiing, diving and paragliding.
· Dining: The north of Ibiza has some of the best dining on the island. From family run restaurants with fresh food of the day, to the famous “Bambuddah Grove” (only 20 minutes away) where you can dine in the company of the rich and famous.
Facilities
· Living room: entrance hall which leads onto the living room. Beautifully furnished in a country style, with seating for six and large open fire. It is furnished with a double sofa-bed, one other large sofa, large plasma TV (International) and a stereo system. There are French windows at the far end of the living room which open out onto the downstairs terrace.
· Dining room: combined within the living room and has table and chairs for 6 people.
· Kitchen: Mediterranean style kitchen with American bar and stools for seating. Perfectly equipped for cooking and dining. It has an electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and coffee machine and opens out onto the dining area and living room.
· Utility room: iron & ironing board. Washing machine.
· Bedrooms: One large double bedroom with Provence style furniture, fitted wardrobes and French windows that open out onto private terrace. There is additional sleeping for a further two people in the living room.
· Bathrooms: One spacious modern family bathroom with bath that has a shower over. Large washbasin and WC.
· Outside: Private parking, large tended gardens and 24 hour security.
· Internet: not available here - sorry.
· Telephone: There is no landline telephone available at this property, but mobile reception is good.
· Baby facilities: baby cot is available here upon request.
· Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 350 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
· Bed & bathroom linen: included in the rental cost.
· Gas, electric & water: all included in the rental cost.
· Winter heating: has been priced separately, to give you the option to use it. It is charged at the rate of 25 Euros per week, paid directly to the owner.
· End-of-stay cleaning: included in the rental cost.
· Change over day: normally a Saturday however the owners may be flexible upon request. Stays of 2 week duration are preferred, but not essential, during July & August.
· Long weekend stays: Possible here - please ask for details.
· Pets: permitted here upon request - please ask for details.
· Smoking: Permitted inside this property
· Supplementary services: the owner is able to arrange the following services for you, at a supplement: Babysitter, Masseur, Chauffeur, Daily cleaner, Chef and boat charter.
How To Get There
· By Air – Ibiza airport is only a 25 minute drive away. There are daily flights from the UK and worldwide - please see the timetables here www.aena.es. There are regular bus services from the airport every fifteen minutes. Taxis are also available at the airport and cost approximately 30 euros.
