  • Close to the village centre of Orgon, where you can buy bread and basic shopping.

  • Accommodation comprises one bedroom, a large lounge, good sized kitchen and a shower room with a separate toilet

  • Outside terrace with sun loungers, tables and chairs, part shaded with a sun roof

  • Shared use of the farmhouses beautiful garden and facilities, including the 11m x 5m fenced swimming pool .

The Local Area

  • The village is on the edge of the spectacular Alpilles mountain chain and on the doorstep of the beautiful Luberon National Park. Both areas are popular with sports and countryside lovers.

  • The apartment is just a couple of minutes walk from the small, Provencal village of Orgon where you'll find small shops, 3 boulangeries  and 2 good restaurants - within walking distance. 
  • The apartment is ideally located for visits to all the beautiful sites of Provence; Avignon, with it's Festival de Théâtre in July and numerous museums, St Rémy de Provence and les Baux famous for its superb rock formations.
  • L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is less than fifteen minutes drive away, famous for the Antiques village and Sunday market.
  • La Route des Vins, "the wine road" (Gigondas and "les Dentelles de Montmirail", Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape) is also easily accessible and if its nature you're after, La Camargue National Park is only an hour drive from here.  

Facilities

  • Living room: The living/dining room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, table and chairs.  There is a TV with some Satelite channels. It’s a lovely, spacious and light room with French doors that lead out onto the terrace.
  • Kitchen: There is a fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, as well as pots pans, and other utensils.  A BBQ is also available, as well as a washing machine, dryer and large freezer – all shared with other guests at the Mas.
  • Bedrooms: This property has one bedroom, equipped with a double bed. There are French doors leading out onto the balcony.
  • Bathrooms: This property has a shower room with separate toilet.
  • Outside: The apartment has a private terrace with furniture for eating al fresco. It also shares a large walled garden (1200m2), well stocked with a variety of plants and trees.  Garden furniture, including a BBQ, is provided for those long, lazy, summer evenings.  Secure parking is also provided.
  • Swimming pool: The large 11m x 5m swimming pool is shared between the other apartments in the complex and has a secure fence and gate around it for child safety.
  • Internet: WiFi Connection available at this property
  • Telephone: Unfortunately, a telephone connection is not provided although mobile reception is good in the locality
  • Baby facilities: Cots and high chairs are available – just let us know what you need when you book!
  • Winter heating: Unfortunately, winter heating is not included in the cost
  • Gas, electric, & water: Are all included in the rental cost.
  • End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost.
  • Bed & bathroom linen: Bed linen and towels are supplied in the rental cost.
  • Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
  • Damage deposit: No damage deposit is requested for this property
  • Change over day: Saturday, although flexibility is possible during the low season
  • Long weekend stays: Unfortunately, these are not available for this property during the high season, although during the low season, these may be available.
  • Pets: Are not permitted at this apartment - sorry.
  • Smoking: Is not permitted inside this apartment – sorry.

How To Get There

  • By Car - Orgon lies on the Route Nationale RN7 south of Avignon

  • By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away

  • By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away
