General Description

  • A good sized, ground floor, two bedroom apartment set in a beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse. Good news for larger parties is that there are 3 additional apartments within the same building which, subject to availability, can be booked together. Please ask us about the others.

Facilities

·         Living room: The living room (adjoined to the dining area) is furnished with a comfortable sofa, and has an ornate stone fireplace.  There is also a TV with some satelite channels available.

·         Dining room: The dining area is furnished for four people, with a table and four chairs

·         Kitchen: There is a fitted kitchen with fridge and oven, as well as pots pans, and other utensils.  A BBQ is also available, as well as a shared washing machine (small fee is applicable)

·         Bedrooms: This property has two bedrooms.  The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed, while the other room contains two single beds, making this ideal for small families.

·         Bathrooms: This property has a well-equipped bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

·         Other rooms: This property has a ‘cave’, well-stocked with wine from the local region, available for purchase.

·         Outside:  This property shares a large walled garden (1200m2), well stocked with a variety of plants and trees.  Garden furniture, including a BBQ, is provided for those long, lazy, summer evenings.  Secure parking is also provided.

·         Swimming pool: The large 11m x 5m swimming pool is shared between the other apartments in the complex

·         Internet: WiFi Connection s available at this property

·         Telephone: Unfortunately, a telephone connection is not provided

·         Baby facilities: Cots and high chairs are available – just let us know what you need when you book!

·         Winter heating: Unfortunately, winter heating is not included in the cost

·         Gas, electric, & water: Are all included in the rental cost.

·         End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost.

·         Bed & bathroom linen: Bed linen and towels are supplied in the rental cost.

·         Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.

·         Damage deposit: No damage deposit is requested for this property

·         Change over day: Saturday, although flexibility is possible during the low season

·         Long weekend stays: Unfortunately, these are not available for this property during the high season, although during the low season, these may be available.

·         Pets: Are not permitted at this apartment - sorry.

·        Smoking: Is not permitted inside this apartment – sorry.

  • By Car - Orgon lies on the Route Nationale RN7 south of Avignon

  • By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away

  • By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away
