The Local Area
The village of Mouriès lies just south of the magnificent Alpilles range of mountains in the valley of 'Baux de Provence'.
Olive groves and vineyards line the country roads leading to the village, surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains
The village has a bustling main street and several bars, restaurants and shops to choose from
Mouriès is a working agricultural village and offers the visitor a unique taste of Provençal life
Mouriès sits at the heart of the Olive Oil producing area and many of the surrounding villages offer mill tours and tasting of locally produced oil
Just 15Km away you can visit St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture and Les Beaux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations is just up the road
Further afield but within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence
For the nature lover there is the Camargue including an ornithological park.

Living room: The well-equipped living room has 2 sofas, coffee table, T.V and hi-fi.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped, with a fridge, oven, microwave, extractor fan and utensils for 4 people. In addition, there is a dining table and 4 chairs
Bedroom: The bedroom is equipped with a double bed and ample wardrobe space
Bathroom: The bathroom has a toilet, basin, shower and heated towel rail
Additional accommodation: A space-saving sofabed is provided
Internet: Unfortunately, an internet connection is not provided
Telephone: Unfortunately, a telephone connection is not provided
Baby facilities: This property does not provide baby facilities
Winter heating: Is included in the cost (although an extra payment of 25 Euros is needed for electricity during low season, see below)
Gas, electric, & water: These are all included in the rental cost during high season. During low season, a further payment of 25 Euros is required.
End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost, although a 20 Euro payment is required for short breaks.
Bed & bathroom linen: This is provided at a cost of 15 Euros, per two people, per week
Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 300 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: Saturday
Long weekend stays: Short breaks are permitted
Pets: Are not permitted at this apartment - sorry.

By Car - Mouriès is situated approximately 30 minutes south of Avignon, 15 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 20 minutes to the east of Arles
By Air - Marseille and NimesAirports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away
