This summer, the number of visitors to the French Riviera and Nice was exceptionally high (+ 6%). This success was mainly due to the very favourable weather, the quality of the tourist products, Prince Albert’s wedding in Monaco, the flight offers, the festivals and many cultural activities and the destination’s reputation. The French (45 %) and foreigners (55 %) came in huge numbers to take advantage of the many opportunities available in the region.
