About Joie De Vivre

Joie de Vivre, a specialist holiday property letting company, grew from a small but successful family holiday business that has been delivering memorable holidays for over 15 years.  Originally we were based in Provence and operated as Property Provencal but the company now has representatives in three areas across the South Of France and the island of Ibiza in Spain.  Hence we changed the name of our business to Joie de Vivre Holidays.

Provence is covered by Colin & Helen Bowles.  Their enthusiasm for the Luberon, Vaucluse and Alpilles regions was borne out of the fact that they were fortunate to have lived in Provence for a couple of years and know the region very well. Have a chat to either of them about the region and their passion and knowledge will I am sure rub off on you!

The Cote d'Azur region is looked after by Paul Rhodes.  After many an extended holiday there, Paul has developed a passion for the region over the years; the sunshine, the people, the culture, the sea, the mountains and the gastronomy all go together to make it a fantastic destination.  Speak to Paul and he'll be delighted to tell you more.

Sue Caddick recently joined us to cover the Languedoc Roussillon region, also known as Le Midi. Sue is lucky enough to have a base in the region so is planning to spend a lot of time in the part of France she loves, hunting out some great properties for us. Finally, we are pleased to welcome Gabrielle Cousins to the Joie Vivre team for our first properties outside of France!  Gabrielle has been living in Ibiza for the last eight years and is delighted to share her extensive knowledge of the island (as well as her fluent Spanish!) with you all.  From the best beaches to visit, to the best restaurants (as well all the best shops!), Gabrielle´s permanent base on the island makes her ideally placed to spearhead our first venture on Spanish shores.  Don´t hesitate to speak to Gabrielle to ensure a truly wonderful holiday.

We have carefully built up, and are continuing to build, a portfolio of local property and we know all of our owners and their properties individually.  We then act on your behalf, taking care of all the legal and contractual aspects of renting a house in France & Spain. This provides both you and the owner with peace of mind.

All of our properties are selected for the details that we know are important to holidaymakers. They are all based in four regions; Provence, the Cote d'Azur, the Languedoc Roussillon and the Island of Ibiza in Spain.  All these areas rich in both beauty and variety; from local vineyards, beautiful coastlines, historic sites, local markets to picturesque villages and of course, a fantastic variety and quality of food and wine.
